Fan Art Gives More Pokemon Ben 10 Makeovers

Fans have shared a number of unique Pokemon collaboration ideas over the years, including one talented artist who has revealed their latest lineup of pocket monsters fused with the alien forms of Ben 10. The beloved Pokemon creatures have cemented an incredible legacy among audiences, and while there have been a number of official crossovers, fan artwork offers a great opportunity for the community to see their favorite Pokemon presented in a variety of new ways.

First introduced in 1996, Pokemon features an array of titular pocket monsters being captured by trainers and used in family-friendly battles. The series began with video games and has expanded to a trading card game, merchandise lines, multiple films, and an incredibly successful Pokemon animated television series. Similarly, Ben 10 is a popular cartoon that sees a young boy acquiring a wristwatch infused with alien DNA, allowing him to transform into intergalactic creatures. Using a bit of creativity, one Pokemon artist has created an impressive lineup of Ben 10 pocket monster fusions.

Fan Art Combines Pokemon and Ben 10

A creative Pokemon fan showcases a series of drawings that give fans a look at what a possible Ben 10 crossover would look like.

Fan artist fakemontrainer shared their newest series of Pokemon x Ben 10 creatures, which pair some of the iconic pocket monsters with Ben’s alien transformations. In the Ben 10 animated series, Ben uses the alien DNA wristwatch to transform into a number of creatures that are surprisingly similar to certain Pokemon, making for a perfect mash-up opportunity. Fakemontrainer revealed a variety of aesthetic fusions, such as Swampfire x Scovillain, Jetray x Crobat, Brainstorm x Metagross, Spidermonkey x Ambipom, and Goop x Muk. Each of the fused creatures features distinct characteristics of the respective Pokemon and Ben 10 aliens, giving fans of both franchises a fun new iteration of their favorite cartoon monsters to enjoy.

Pokemon x Ben 10 Fusion Monsters

Fellow community members voiced their admiration for the thoughtful and artistic renditions of the Pokemon x Ben 10 monsters, with many noting the cleverness of using creatures with similar features and abilities. The noisy Echo Echo and Loudred made for a sonorous combination, and the obvious match-up of the dinosaurs Humungousaur x Tyrantum resulted in a powerful prehistoric monster. Others enjoyed the geological fusion of Chromastone x Gigalith, as well as the ethereal blending of Alien X with Arceus. All in all, both Pokemon and Ben 10 fans continue to appreciate the fantastic fusions of fakemontrainer.

As the Pokemon brand continues to grow and expand, many fans would like to see fan-suggested crossovers like the Ben 10 fusions made into official collaborations. Unfortunately, there have not been any announcements regarding a potential Ben 10-themed crossover.
