The character’s whimsical “Christmas Equation” stretches from the rooftop to the ground, and the iconic Halloween Town countdown clock ticks away, showing the days left until Christmas. Disney World has introduced a subtle yet eerie update to the Haunted Mansion, enhancing the classic attraction’s mysterious and spooky atmosphere.

Traditionally, Jack Skellington and his friends from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas transform the Haunted Mansion into a frightfully festive experience starting in late summer at Disneyland Resort. However, according to Disneyland, in 2025 the seasonal overlay will run from November 14, 2025, through January 7, 2026, allowing the classic version of the ride to remain in operation throughout Halloween. Starting November 1, when guests step into the foyer, they will notice it has transformed, complete with skull wreaths and eerie holiday decor. The Ghost Host sets the scene with a haunting rhyme, weaving the tale of the seasonal transformation.

Additionally, the traditional Haunted Mansion is set to return on January 18, 2025 and take advantage of the extensive refurbishments made over the last year. Meanwhile, the redesigned outdoor queue introduces fresh sights and sounds for visitors as they make their way to the mansion’s entrance.

Although the original queue was entirely removed during the refurbishment, cherished elements like the pet cemetery have been carefully preserved, finding their place within the reimagined grounds, now enhanced with beautifully redesigned gardens.
