What Is Fermat Kitchen About?

Fermat Kitchen is a cooking manga series that follows two young boys. Gaku Kitada excels at math, while Kai Asakura is a cooking extraordinaire. After reaching his limit, Gaku Kitada decides to give up on his dream of becoming a mathematician. Eventually, he is recruited by Kai Asakura, who decides to use Gaku Kitada’s math skills to create culinary marvels. This unlikely team-up leads to the beginning of an enthralling adventure.

Fermat Kitchen began serializing in Kodansha’s Monthly Shonen Magazine in September 2018. Since then, it has released four volumes.

In December, the official X (formerly Twitter) account associated with the series posted Yugo Kobayashi’s message in which the author confirmed that the manga would be ending in two volumes. Ao Ashi has been serialized in Weekly Big Comic Spirits since 2015. The manga has released 38 volumes and will end after two more. Ao Ashi has also performed well in terms of sales. According to reports, it has sold over 21 million copies, which is a highly respected number.

The anime adaptation of Ao Ashi was announced in 2021, but it didn’t air until April 2022. The first season had 24 episodes, with the last one airing on September 24, 2024.
