Jiu Jitsu is a ridiculous low-budget martial arts movie that will seem weirdly familiar to regular players of Netherrealm’s iconic franchise.

Ahead of the release of Man With No Past, Paramount has shared a new clip from the upcoming film with Game Rant. Tense and mysterious, the clip shows three men deciding whether to bring a new person into their private matters, though the nature of their work is unclear. Though unconfirmed, it seems that the group may engage in murder for money.

Man With No Past will also star Charlotte Vega (The Misfits Club), Marton Csokas (Lord of the Rings), Adam Woodward (Hollyoaks), and Philip Winchester (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), among others. Director James Bamford, who started his career as a stuntman in popular films like X2, Watchmen, and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, has taken well to his new spot in the director’s chair. In just over a year, he has released several other films involving assassins or otherwise powerful protagonists, including Jade, Utopia, and Hard Home. Additionally, the movie was written and produced by Steven Paul, who has five decades of industry experience.

Judging from the film’s official trailer, Voight seems to portray a time-traveling assassin who has spent time in many different periods of history. Following the many memorable action movies released in 2024, the high-octane film will keep the momentum going heading into 2025.
