Therefore, you must always be cautious when hunting for powerful and impressive Pal. If you’re looking to capture Tarantriss, one of the cute yet functional Pal found on Feybreak Island, one of the game’s most challenging regions, this guide is for you.
Where To Find Tarantriss
Tarantriss is a cute, pink and black-toned spider-like Pal. Like most of the special Pals found on Feybreak Island, this Pal also resides there. Feybreak Island is located in the southeast of your map, and since the Pals on this island are above level 50, you should prepare your team and equipment accordingly, otherwise, you might find yourself facing deadly situations.
A Dark-type Pal, Tarantriss can be commonly found in the middle areas of Feybreak Island. You can easily spot them in areas with crimson-colored soil, and you can encounter them at any time of day.
Tarantriss are quite aggressive and will attack you as soon as they see you. Since they are of the Dark type, it’s helpful to have Dragon-type Pals in your team to easily take them down. To capture them, you should use at least a Legendary Sphere. However, if you have an Ultimate or Exotic Sphere, it will be much easier.
Make sure to equip Sphere Modules to increase your chances of capture.
How To Breed Tarantriss
If you don’t want to face the dangers of Feybreak Island, you can also hatch Tarantriss from an egg. The egg you need to look for in the wild is a Dark Egg. Additionally, you can breed certain Pals to obtain Tarantriss. The parent combinations required for this are shown in the table below:

When you capture or kill a Tarantriss, you’ll obtain 
Fiber
and 
Venom Gland
. Fiber is a common material, and it’s not ideal to hunt Tarantriss for it. It’s easier to obtain by processing

with a

. To get Venom Gland, placing a Caprity Noct in your 
Ranch
will make it easier, but Caprity Noct is also found on Feybreak Island.
Alternatively, it’s easier to obtain Venom Gland from more accessible Pals like

. Therefore, the items dropped by Tarantriss aren’t particularly satisfying.
Partner Skill & Work Suitability
Tarantriss’ partner skill is Tarantriss’s Web. This allows you to ride on it, but unfortunately, Tarantriss isn’t the fastest mount, and there are better alternatives. However, it’s not limited to just that.
When you ride Tarantriss, you can aim and use grapple to move a bit faster or climb up to high places. However, you can’t move vertically like a goat on a wall; you can only climb small cliffs. You can use this ability every four seconds.

Tarantriss can perform several tasks at an average level, making it quite useful at your base. Especially because of its Gathering work suitability, it would be a good idea to keep it at a base with farms.
If you’re considering keeping Tarantriss at your base, the ‘Remarkable Craftsmanship’ passive skill would be a good choice. This will increase its work speed by 75%.
Where To Find Alpha Boss Tarantriss
If you want to obtain a stronger Tarantriss, you can aim to capture the Alpha Boss Tarantriss. This Alpha Boss is level 57 and is located at coordinates –1342, -1428. The easiest way to reach it is by heading northeast from the Feybreak Shipwreck fast travel point.
Due to the Alpha Pal’s high level, you should proceed with caution, and having Pals like 
Jetragon
, Silvegis, or Xenogard in your team will make your job much easier due to their highly effective attacks.
