Disney Dreamlight Valley is a cozy life sim game that lets you customize the Valley with various decorations, from furniture to flowers. Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s A Rift in Time expansion introduced even more flowers to forage, with some being trickier to track down than others. One Eternity Isle flower that can be challenging to find is the Green Fly Trap, a universally recognizable exotic flower with spiky teeth. As it also comes in a purple variety and has a low spawn rate, you might struggle with where to find Green Fly Traps in Disney Dreamlight Valley and want to know what to do with them.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: Where to Find All Flowers
Beautify Dreamlight Valley with its blossoming bounty of flourishing flowers.
Knowing where to find Green Fly Trap flowers is also essential for completing certain quests, like Mickey’s Flower Power quest, where you must collect six of the jaw-snapping specimens in total. Although six doesn’t sound like a lot, it can be frustrating and challenging to find them, given Green Fly Trap’s spawn rate. To lend a helping hand, here’s everything you need to know about foraging Green Fly Traps in Disney Dreamlight Valley and what else you can do with them.
Where To Find Green Fly Trap In Disney Dreamlight Valley
To get right to it, you can find Green Fly Traps in the following areas of Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s Wild Tangle biome in A Rift in Time:
- The Grasslands
- The Promenade
However, only a maximum of two Green fly traps typically spawn at any one time. They are also sometimes tricky to spot with their green color that can blend into the lush jungle landscape of the Wild Tangle. In terms of spawn locations, Green Fly Traps can also spawn pretty much anywhere in The Grasslands and the Promenade, including the upper and lower levels. Therefore, you may need to search every nook and cranny of this part of the map to track them down.
Green Fly Traps have a spawn rate of approximately every 60 minutes, but there is another variety called Purple Fly Trap that spawns in the same areas of the Wild Tangle, which can add to your foraging time. Therefore, it’s best to pick all the Fly Traps in the area and return after at least an hour or so of doing something else to give the Green Fly Traps a chance to re-spawn.
What To Do With Green Fly Trap in Disney Dreamlight Valley
While you’ll probably be hunting Green Fly Traps as part of Mickey’s Flower Power quest, there’s another Eternity Isle quest called The Wild Tangle’s Swarm, wherein you must find this elusive flower. The Wild Tangle’s Swarm is a Gaston Friendship Quest you can pick up after completing his The Wanderer of the Dunes quest. In The Wild Tangle’s Swarm, you need four Green Fly Traps, four Purple Fly Traps, and various other items to make a Carnivous Floral Arrangement, so it’s a good idea to grab Green Fly Traps whenever you see them, especially if you’re catching up with any Eternity Isle quests like these.
Of course, Green Fly Traps don’t just appear in A Rift in Time quests. You also need Green Fly Traps to make the following Eternity Isle crafting recipes, which can make attractive and unusual decorative items for the Valley:
- Green Cobra Statue
- Green Leafy Trellis
- Potted Lily Pad Bush
You can also sell Green Fly Traps at Goofy’s Stall for 73 Gold Star Coins each.
