Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket’s competitive mode features a few key differences from the real-world trading card game. Decks are comprised of 20 cards instead of 60, energies aren’t included, players can only have a maximum of four Pokemon in play instead of six, and only three points are required to win, versus the real-world TCG’s six, each of which gives a prize card.
While these more straightforward rules may not appeal to the hardened Pokemon TCG player, newcomers have been using them as a way to enter the competitive world of the trading card game.
