Summary
- Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League players think there were once plans to add four more characters.
- The theory stems from four lockers that remain unused, seemingly waiting for new characters to claim them.
- Killer Croc was almost certainly one of those characters, as was Katana, and possibly Peacemaker too.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will stop getting new content this month once its season four, episode eight update has been rolled out, bringing the curtain down on the live service game less than a year after it launched. Clearly Rocksteady had more plans for the game that would have extended off into the future, and a discovery in the Suicide Squad locker room has some players theorizing at least four more playable characters were in the offing.
Reddit user FootballHooligan shared an image of the locker room on the SuicideSquadGaming subreddit. It shows Harley Quinn standing in front of four unused lockers. Lockers that will presumably remain unused forever now that the character additions are coming to an end, but an indicator that they would have been used by new Suicide Squad team members had the game’s roadmap proceeded as planned.

The long-awaited update will launch tomorrow.
The image has sparked a conversation regarding which characters from the DC universe Rocksteady planned to bring in and fill those locker spots. It seems almost certain that Killer Croc was one of the characters planned for Kill The Justice League that we will now never get to see. A datamine of the game’s beta, so revealed before the game had even been released, confirmed plans to eventually have Killer Croc join Quinn and the rest of the Suicide Squad.
Kill The Justice League Players Think There Were Meant To Be Four More Characters
Those Lockers Must Have Been For Someone
According to commenters on the post above, Katana was another DC character that Rocksteady hoped would eventually join the game. That there were characters buried in the game pre-release that will now never see the light of day just goes to show how late it was when Rocksteady realized Kill The Justice League wasn’t going to be the hit it expected.
As for who might have occupied the other two lockers, that might be left up to guesswork and fantasy booking forever more. Peacemaker is a popular pick among players and would have been a great addition, particularly if his in-game arrival coincided with the release of season two of the Peacemaker TV show. Black Manta is another popular pick, and it seems there were in-game files suggesting plans for a playable Poison Ivy and other characters were in the works.
If you’ve avoided Kill The Justice League during its first year, even though its additional content will end this month, it’s worth picking up. The game will remain playable, both in single-player and co-op, beyond the final update, and right now you can pick it up for only $3. Even better, if you have PS Plus, you will be able to claim it for free starting from tomorrow.
An open-world action-adventure from Arkham creators Rocksteady, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League puts you in the roles of the antihero squad. You must take on the aforementioned Justice League, either in solo play or online co-op.
