Roleplaying as Cyberpunk 2077‘s most deadly merc is not just about arming yourself with the best weapons and deadliest cyberware that eddies can buy. Sometimes, it’s about kicking your shoes off, putting your feet up, and watching the tube for a few hours.
It might not be the most exciting aspect of Cyberpunk 2077 (and its DLC, Phantom Liberty), but it’s a good way to spend your hard-earned cash. Having a few homes away from home can be quite convenient when you’re on the run from the cops, and they also offer some useful buffs. Here’s how to get some new digs in Cyberpunk 2077.
Updated January 5, 2025, by Sean Murray: Despite stating otherwise, CD Projekt Red continues to update Cyberpunk 2077 to offer chooms an enhanced Night City experience. We’ve updated this guide to reflect the current state of Cyberpunk’s real estate market.
How To Upgrade Or Purchase An Apartment
The process of upgrading your apartment or purchasing a whole new place to live is relatively simple in Cyberpunk 2077.
Return to V’s apartment that you receive after the game’s short prologue, head over to the computer, and select the EZEstates website in the bottom right corner. Here, you’ll be able to view and select apartments available for purchase.
To purchase an apartment, simply choose one and, if you have enough cash, it will be yours. All of your in-game items will be available from each apartment through a shared stash.
You will need to have completed the quest titled ‘Playing For Time’ for these new lodgings to become available.
You can also customize V’s original apartment through the EZEstates website. There are six different themes to choose from which modify the colors and patterns you see on the walls and floor. These are purely aesthetic changes and do not alter the amenities available (more on that later).
Apartments Available For Purchase
There are exactly four new apartments to purchase in Cyberpunk 2077. Each apartment ranges in price, style, atmosphere, and location. The cheapest apartment comes in at €$10,000 while the most expensive is an impressive €$110,000.
Each apartment comes with a collection of consumable items to make them seem like lived-in domiciles. These can range from drinks and alcoholic beverages to foodstuffs like pizza and Hawt Dawgs.
Here is each apartment, the locations, and the prices:
Apartment Location |
Apartment Price |
---|---|
Northside, Watson |
€$10,000 |
Japantown, Westbrook |
€$30,000 |
The Glen, Heywood |
€$80,000 |
Corpo Plaza, City Center |
€$110,000 |
Kress Street Hideout |
Free after completing ‘Lucretia My Reflection’ |
All of these apartments can be found on the EZEstates website, but they can also be discovered by exploring the regions listed above.
If you have 20 Intelligence, V can hack the door to the Northside Apartment and obtain ownership without paying.

Apartment Buffs And How To Get Them
Apartments aren’t just nice places to visit—they can also provide you with powerful buffs. These buffs are activated by performing certain activities within an apartment and provide a useful stat bonus that lasts for one hour.
These buffs include:
Apartment Feature |
Feature Effect |
Bonus |
---|---|---|
Showering |
This will give you the Refreshed buff for an hour. |
|
Sleeping |
This will make you Rested for an hour. |
|
Brewing Coffee |
This will give you the Energized buff for an hour. |
|
These buffs are totally free and the best reason to purchase apartments. Always sleep, shower, and brew coffee whenever you’re home.
Apartment Amenities
Every apartment is a little different. They’ll all have a bed to sleep in, a shower to wash up, a mirror to change your appearance, a wardrobe to change your style, and a stash to arm yourself with the finest armaments that eddies can buy.
That said, not every apartment will have a place for your cat, a coffee machine, or a big-screen TV. Each apartment amenity offers something, whether that be a potent buff or just a fun way to waste a bit of time.
Here’s a list of amenities available at each apartment:

Even though the game’s plot makes it seem like you’ve got a very short amount of time left, V can sleep for as long as he wants without consequences. This is a great way to get useful buffs and also set the time of day to be whatever you prefer.
