MHA will continue with new short comics. Here’s what Horikoshi had to say at Jump Festa.
At the same time, My Hero Academia fans also got to see the Hero rankings of quite a lot of characters in My Hero Academia chapter 431. Of course, there are some Heroes that are expectedly where they belong, but, quite a lot of others have shockingly low rankings, for one reason or another.
6
Nejire Hado
Hero Rank: 7th
Nejire Hado is one of the most powerful Heroes to exist in the world of My Hero Academia. Along with Mirio and Tamaki, she is a part of the UA Big 3. Just based on that alone, fans know that Nejire has the potential to actually be higher.
Nejire should be, at the very least, a top five hero, and she has the incredible ability to pull that off. Fans also know that she has a very delightful personality, and as such, has nothing going against her. It is possible that Nejire hasn’t had time to establish herself like Mirio, and that eventually, she will go on to claim higher positions. But, for a genius such as her, even a position as high as 7 feels too low.
5
Kirishima
Hero Rank: 12th
Kirishima is a very powerful Hero and fans always expected great things from him. In fact, he is easily one of the strongest in U.A.’s Class 1A. Kirishima is the Number 12 hero in Japan, which, although impressive, isn’t actually reflective of his strength. Kirishima can easily go higher and claim a position within the top 10 Heroes in the country.
That said, there is actually a reason as to why he isn’t placed higher. According to him, he is only now going solo, which means that he will have his chances to shine brighter and claim higher positions.
4
Tamaki
Hero Rank: 18th
Tamaki, another member of the UA Big 3, has quite a shocking ranking and it is revealed to the fans that he is the Number 18 Hero in Japan. He is one of the UA Big Three, just like Mirio and Nejire. The fact that he is not even in the top 10, or even the top 15, is, quite frankly, shocking.
Tamaki should be hovering around the Top 10 positions, and possibly be even higher. His Quirk is incredibly versatile and his abilities are frighteningly powerful. Hopefully, in the future, he will go on to get even stronger and claim higher positions.
3
Tokoyami
Hero Rank: 17th
Fumikage Tokoyami is a character that fans expected to be a lot higher in My Hero Academia. In the manga, fans saw him go head-to-head with the likes of Redestro and later down the line, even, to some extent, All For One. His power is absolutely unbelievable and all that was when he was still a student.

Horikoshi finally reveals the top 10 heroes in Japan. The rankings are shocking.
Since then, 8 years have passed and he has likely grown tremendously in terms of strength. Despite everything, he is the Number 17 Hero in Japan, which is ridiculously low for him. He should be hovering around the Top 10 positions.
2
Ochako Uraraka
Hero Rank: 25th
Ochako is the heroine of My Hero Academia and certainly a very powerful Hero as well. Fans know her to be one of the most prominent figures in the world right now, and much of that is down to her Quirk Counseling, with which she changed the hero society in general.
Ochako has a very low hero ranking of 25, despite possessing tremendous strength, and even an awakened Quirk. The fact is that her ranking should be much higher, regardless of her work with Quirk Counseling.
1
Katsuki Bakugo
Hero Rank: 15th
Undoubtedly, the most shocking Hero rank in My Hero Academia is that of Bakugo. It was revealed in My Hero Academia chapter 431 that Bakugo is the Number 15th Hero in Japan. Bakugo debuted as the Number 4 hero, which, although impressive, wasn’t even truly reflective of his strength, given that he is certainly among the strongest, if not the strongest itself.
Yet, due to his bad attitude and rash demeanor, Bakugo kept falling down the ranks, and eventually reached 15th place. Despite everything, Bakugo’s rank should definitely be higher and hopefully, fans will see him rise through the ranks in the future.
