Helldivers 2 brought the Illuminate, melee weapons, and the FRV with the Omens of Tyranny update. The war against the squids hasn’t quite been what players were expecting, as it’s been relatively easy so far. The community has many theories, like the Illuminate are actually running from a bigger, scarier enemy. But, whatever the case may be, we’ll be diving and driving head first into it.

The FRV is the first vehicle to be added to the game, and leaks have revealed that it won’t be the last. It has added a new dimension to the gameplay, offering rapid movement between objectives, and a whole lot of laughs when it crashes. However, fans have taken it upon themselves to customise the vehicle, and I don’t mean the in-game skins.
Super Earth Customs
As spotted by Redditor Automatic-Fault-430, someone has created a mod to turn the FRV into the famous BMW M3 GTR from NFS: Most Wanted. Most gamers will immediately recognise the iconic shape and decals of the car from the cover of the game. In fact, it still remains one of the best and most sought-after cars in video games.
The BMW M3 GTR (FRV) mod changes the chassis of the FRV to give it a look similar to the street racing car, but it still has the same undercarriage. This means that it looks a little shorter than usual, but still includes the big offroading tires of the Super Earth vehicle. The rear windshield has been removed for the gunner to have access to the mounted machine gun.
The creator seems to be quite a fan of the game, as they’ve also created a mod that turns the FRV into the Halo Warthog. Along with that, they have some armour and ship mods, including a review bomb cape.
Now, you’ll not only be able to travel between locations in no time, but you’ll also be able to race Automaton Factory Striders for their pink slips. Over on Reddit, the community absolutely loved this mod, altering quotes from the game, like, “First I’m gonna take your ride, then I’m gonna take your Super Credits!”
