Summary
- Genshin Impact leak hints at the location of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai in Version 6.0.
- Snezhnaya will likely integrate an autonomous province, Nod-Krai, as a critical trade hub.
- This likely means that HoYoverse is splitting Snezhnaya into regions due to size, with plans for expansion in upcoming updates.
A recent Genshin Impact leak from the beta servers potentially pinpoints the location of Nasha Town and Nod-Krai, with both expected to debut in Version 6.0. While Natlan is still underway in Genshin Impact, recent beta builds have slowly started to add placeholders for Snezhnaya, the long-awaited Nation of Cryo, and the icy realm of the Tsaritsa. Unlike previous regions of Teyvat, Snezhnaya is expected to eclipse even Sumeru and Liyue in size, stretching from Natlan to the west, and encircling the entirety of Fontaine to the north.
While previous leaks pointed towards Nod-Krai being its own separate region in Genshin Impact Version 6.0, recent datamining efforts all but confirm its exact location. As an autonomous province of Snezhnaya, Nod-Krai connects the Cryo Nation with the rest of Teyvat by serving as a trade hub. According to Liben, Nod-Krai is the southernmost part of Snezhnaya, and it’s likely that the Traveler and Paimon will enter the province via Fontaine or Natlan.

Genshin Impact Leaks 5-star Banner Characters For 5.4
A new Genshin Impact leak reveals which five-star units will arrive alongside the new character Mizuki in the upcoming Version 5.4.
According to Leakflow and Extra, and the footage shared by The_Strifemaster, the latest beta build for Version 5.4 has added a placeholder landmass directly underneath Fontaine’s western waterfalls. Notably, it would seem that this landmass connects to Mont Esus, which was long rumored to be a potential Fontaine map expansion in Genshin Impact. While it does not imply that Mont Esus will be released before or during Version 6.0, all roads seem to lead to Nasha Town and Nod-Krai.
Genshin Impact: What is Nod-Krai?
Nod-Krai is both a region and a city located on the southern borders of Snezhnaya. While some semblance of order is upheld by the Voynich Guild, Nod-Krai has earned its reputation as a lawless province. A stronghold of the Fatui operates out of Nod-Krai, led by Dottore, one of the most popular Fatui Harbingers in Genshin Impact. Nasha Town is a notable settlement located in the province, and the people of Nod-Krai are said to wield a power that predates the seven Elements of Teyvat.
While splitting up Snezhnaya into two parts could end up being a controversial decision, Snezhnaya is likely too big of a region to be completed in one year, both from a narrative and development standpoint. With Version 5.3 wrapping up the Archon Quest in Natlan, players can expect the subsequent patches to slowly set the stage for Snezhnaya in Genshin Impact. While Capitano’s fate remains uncertain, Natlan is set to debut Skirk as a playable character, who herself has ties to one of the Five Sinners of Khaenri’ah. Assuming no delays, Version 6.0 is expected to launch on September 10, 2025.
