Gameloft has announced the upcoming launch of its puzzle adventure reboot, Carmen Sandiego, scheduled to release across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. While the game is releasing as a premium title on consoles, Carmen Sandiego is set to launch on mobile as part of Netflix Game’s exclusive gaming catalog. The game was first announced last September 10, 2024.

Carmen Sandiego is a puzzle adventure title, a reboot of the beloved Carmen Sandiego series, one of the top 30 longest-running video game franchises. It also has a four-season animated series on Netflix, with the same name. The game reintroduces the iconic scarlet super thief, Carmen Sandiego, along with her signature red hat and lots of enjoyable gameplay content.
You will get to play Sandiego, for the very first time in the history of the franchise, and immerse yourself in her world of espionage. Like Inspector Gadget, you are armed with various state-of-the-art gadgets like the glider, grappling hook, and night vision and thermal imaging goggles, you will have to capture VILE, also known as Villains’ International League of Evil, and bring its operatives to justice.
