Thor

Played by: Chris Hemsworth

  • Featured in: Thor (2011), The Avengers (2012), Thor: The Dark World (2013), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Thor: Ragnarok (2017), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019), Thor: Love and Thunder (2022)

It’s a very brief cameo, but as Paradox explains the importance of Wade Wilson in the TVA, he accidentally reveals a potential future, one where Deadpool is being cradled by Thor in what can only be assumed as an emotional moment in an Avengers movie. Thor is sporting new wounds, and is played by Chris Hemsworth in a role that only has him holding a seemingly dying Deadpool for a brief moment before Paradox turns off the monitor displaying it.

Henry Cavill as Wolverine

The Former Superman of the DCEU

henry cavill's wolverine with a cigar

Whilst traveling through the multiverse in search of a Wolverine willing to help Deadpool save his timeline, he comes across one with biceps even bigger than that of Hugh Jackman’s. When this man turns around, it’s none other than Henry Cavill, the icon who played Superman for the DCEU. Cavill looks great with the mutton chops and a cigar, but he wastes no time in reloading his arms and punching Deadpool back through the multiverse-hopping door he came from. Hopefully, this isn’t the last that audiences see of the Cavillrine.

39

Blade

Played by: Wesley Snipes

wesley snipes as blade in deadpool and wolverine
  • Featured in: Blade (1998), Blade 2 (2002), Blade: Trinity (2004)

There has, and still has, only ever been one Blade in the Marvel Universe. Blade pushed the boundaries for Marvel movies in 1998, so it’s only fitting that Wesley Snipes returns as the iconic Daywalker. Blade’s cameo in Deadpool & Wolverine is a great one, as it’s unexpected for a few reasons, especially with how fans have speculated for years that the relationship between Reynolds and Snipes soured with Blade Trinity. Regardless, it’s great to see this vampire killer in the sun again.

38

Elektra

Played by: Jennifer Garner

jennifer garner as elektra in deadpool and wolverine
  • Featured in: Daredevil (2003), Elektra (2005)

Heading straight out of the early years of Marvel, Elektra slashes her way through 2005, only to return in the Void in Deadpool & Wolverine. Elektra is once again played by Jennifer Garner, and Deadpool can’t help a shy little meta joke about her former love, Daredevil, who was played by Garner’s ex-husband Ben Affleck. Even so, Elektra gets her moments to shine.

37

Gambit

Played by: Channing Tatum

channing tatum as gambit in deadpool and wolverine

For almost 20 years, 20th Century Fox had attempted to get a Gambit movie off the ground, with the producer and star of the movie being the one and only Channing Tatum. The role seemed to mean a lot to Tatum, and in Deadpool & Wolverine, he finally gets to don the iconic costume, staff, deck of cards, and, of course, the Cajun accent. Gambit’s role is a treat, as he fights for the forces of good whilst also proving what kind of hero he could have been if he was given a chance.

36

The Hulk

The Green Monster Who Fought Wolverine In His Debut

deadpool and the hulk

In a very, very brief cameo, the Hulk appears and even attacks Deadpool after the Merc with a Mouth hops through the multiverse in search of a Wolverine. Deadpool finds himself in a universe focused on the Incredible Hulk Vol 1 #340, where Wolverine dons his iconic brown and yellow costume and fights the Hulk. Whilst the fight isn’t shown, it’s still great to see a roaring Hulk reflect off of Adamantium claws.

35

Happy Hogan

Played by: Jon Favreau

  • Featured in: Iron Man (2008), Iron Man 2 (2010), Iron Man 3 (2013), Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017), Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), Avengers: Endgame (2019), Spider-Man: No Way Home (2021)

Towards the beginning of Deadpool & Wolverine, Deadpool interviews with Happy Hogan, the once chauffeur of Tony Stark, now turned Head of Security and close confidant. Deadpool tries to get into the Avengers, but it’s clear that Happy doesn’t believe the Merc with a Mouth is ready yet to be part of a team.

34

Johnny Storm, the Human Torch

Played by: Chris Evans

  • Featured in: Fantastic Four (2005), Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007)

The proud and booming voice of Chris Evans always means one thing: Captain America is here to save the day. Yet, the leader of the Avengers doesn’t come armed with a shield, but instead two words: Flame on. In a shocker of a cameo, Chris Evans returns to play Johnny Storm, the Human Torch, who was Evans’ first role in Marvel with the Fantastic Four movies.

33

X-23 (Laura)

Played by: Dafne Keen

  • Featured in: Logan (2017)

Laura Kinney said her goodbyes to the one and only Wolverine after he died protecting her and other Mutant children, allowing them to escape a dangerous organization that wanted them dead. Now a young woman, X-23 grew up thanks to Wolverine’s efforts and uses her adamantium claws in her hands and feet to stab and slash those who would threaten the force of good.

32

Ladypool

Played by: Blake Lively

ladypool

Whilst her face is never revealed, it couldn’t be more obvious that the woman behind the red cowl is Blake Lively, the wife of Deadpool himself, Ryan Reynolds. Ladypool has a few lines towards the end of the film, and those who have seen Lively’s movies will recognize her voice as one of the more prominent members of the Deadpool Corps.

31

B-15

Played by: Wunmi Mosaku

b-15
  • Featured in: Loki (2021-2023)

The TVA seems to be growing into a respectable authority on timelines, and B-15 is there to ensure that this remains so. B-15 has a short role in Deadpool & Wolverine, but it’s great to see a familiar face from Marvel Studios’ TV series, Loki, as a character who wants to protect timelines rather than destroy them.

30

Toad

Played by: Daniel Medina Ramos

blade vs toad
  • Featured in: X-Men (2000)

Riding with the other miscreants in the Void, Toad doesn’t get up too much, but he certainly has a threatening aura about him, especially a disgusting one with how he uses his long tongue for combat and violence under the thumb of Cassandra Nova.

29

Pyro

Played by: Aaron Stanford

pyro
  • Featured in: X2 (2003), X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)

From the original X-Men movies, Pyro returns, working as a double agent for Cassandra Nova and Paradox in the TVA. Pyro is older and more mature, and his powers are even strong enough to suck the energy out of the Human Torch, but he’s a minor villain that doesn’t get up to much.

28

Juggernaut

Played by: Aaron W. Reed

juggernaught camo
  • Featured in: X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)

The Juggernaut smashes his way onto the screen in Deadpool & Wolverine but is not played by Vinnie Jones as he appeared in X-Men: The Last Stand. Whilst it is the same version of the character, it’s not the same actor, and the role is mainly a MacGuffin, as Deadpool and Wolverine need Juggernaut’s helmet to suppress Cassandra’s powers.

27

Lady Deathstrike

Played by: Jade Lye

lady deathstrike camo

Lacking a speaking role, Lady Deathstrike can be seen inside Cassandra Nova’s compound but doesn’t do much during the fight. The character appears with long adamantium fingernails like she did in X2, and luckily, she doesn’t share the same fate of having liquid adamantium fill her skull.

26

Ant-Man

The Skeletal Corpse Of Paul Rudd’s Ant-Man

deadpool-and-wolverine-trailer-ant-man-easter-egg Cropped

Ant-Man’s cameo is a rather stiff one. Literally. The character appears as a corpse rather than as a speaking role, but it’s clearly a variant of Scott Lang, thanks to the outfit seen. Whilst Deadpool makes a jab about how well Paul Rudd has aged, the Ant-Man cameo goes no further than a dead body used as a fortress.

Azazel

Played by: Eduardo Gago Munoz

azazel
  • Featured in: X-Men: First Class (2011)

A vile member of the Brotherhood of Mutants, Azazel is a killer and a mutant who looks like a demon who can also teleport. Azazel doesn’t get up to much speaking, but he is teleporting around a climactic fight towards the end of the movie.

24

Sabretooth

Played by: Tyler Mane

  • Featured in: X-Men (2000)

Sabretooth is the nemesis of Wolverine, and his return strikes a rematch in the making. Sabretooth isn’t played by Liev Schreiber but instead by Tyler Mane, who played him in the original X-Men movie. A brief line and a missing head moments later, Sabretooth doesn’t last long in the Void.

23

Psylocke

Played by: Ayesha Hussain

psylocke cameo
  • Featured in: X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)

A member of the Omegas who has now joined up with Cassandra Nova, Psylocke doesn’t speak, but it cannot be denied that it’s her thanks to the purple highlights in her hair and the use of a purple psychic energy whip that she uses to pull others towards her in a fight.

22

Callisto

Played by: Chloe Kibble

callisto camo
  • Featured in: X-Men: The Last Stand (2006)

Callisto used to lead a band of outcast mutants known as the Omegas, but it seems that her time as a leader is forfeit. Callisto is more of a background cameo in the movie, but she can be seen working under the force of Cassandra Nova for the first time since X-Men: The Last Stand.
