Love And Deepspace has had an impressive, emotional run in its first year. Whether you were drawn in by the stunning graphics, the dynamic combat system, the heartwarming (and heartbreaking) memories, or the handsome love interests, the game grips you and doesn’t let go.
To celebrate its phenomenal first year, and the players who made it all possible, InFold released the Touring In Love event. During this anniversary event, you can spend time reminiscing on the year’s memories and play some fun minigames with your favorite love interests. The event brings countless rewards, including four and five-star memory crates, Deepspace Wishes, and more.
Touring In Love is a limited event that runs from 5:00 December 31, 2024, to 4:59 January 20, 2025. After the event period ends, you will not be able to obtain any limited memories or rewards.
You must update your game’s client before you can enter the event. If you’re struggling to update the client, make sure you have enough storage on your device. The update requires about 40 to 50 GB to download but will shrink to 32 GB once it is done updating. For more help troubleshooting, check this guide.
Tour Memo
To start the Touring In Love event, select the event tab in the Deepspace Café menu. From here, you’ll be thrown right into the prologue for the event.
Towards the end of the prologue, you’ll be asked to choose one of the four love interests to start the Tour with. Don’t worry, you’ll still be able to pick the others after finishing the prologue, so go with whichever one warms your heart most first.
After the prologue ends, you’ll enter the main event page and can choose to swap to other characters.
You have to finish the prologue before being able to change characters. If you don’t finish the prologue for Touring In Love first, you also won’t be able to access any of the other events in the event lineup.
If you want to replay the prologue, open the Tour Memo tab.
In Tour Memo, you can replay any story stage or prologue that you’ve unlocked and played through before. Tour memo is also where you’ll find new story stages as they unlock over the course of the event.
To unlock new stages, you need to use Memo Marks, which you can earn by completing Timed Task milestones.
Each Love Interest has five story stages to play through — six if you count the prologue. The following table lays out the schedule for when each new chapter releases:
Stage |
Unlocked |
---|---|
Prologue |
Upon opening the event |
Chapter One |
January 03 |
Chapter Two |
January 06 |
Chapter Three |
January 09 |
Chapter Four |
January 12 |
Chapter Five |
January 15 |
After the event ends, you can find and replay these event stages from the With Him menu. You can only find and replay stages in With Him if you have already played through them at least once.
Timed Tasks
Timed Tasks is Touring In Love’s Daily Agenda system. In Timed Tasks, you have a series of tasks, both recurring and milestone-based to complete. When you complete tasks, you’ll earn Tour Marks and Memo Marks.
Tour Marks are currency to be spent in the Tour Shop. As you collect Tour Marks, you will also fill the progress meter at the top of the Timed Tasks screen. After every Tour Mark milestone you meet, you will earn Memo Marks.
Memo Marks are needed to unlock story stages in Tour Memo.
You can check the unlock date of all events from the Tour Guide menu. You can find the Tour Guide at the top left of your screen, beneath the Tour Pass.
Tour Shop
The Tour Shop offers several useful resources and special items to collect using Tour Marks.
The highlights of the Tour Shop include four limited-time four-star memories you can purchase for 7200 Tour Marks a piece, 10 Deepspace Wish: Limited, Fondness Vouchers (Used in the Fondness Treasure event), event limited music, and much more.
The four-star memories offered in the event shop will enter permanent rotation in Galaxy Explorer at the end of the event.
You can easily earn more than enough Tour Marks to buy every item in the shop by the end of the event if you are diligently completing Timed Tasks.
Daily Buzz
Daily Buzz is a log-in rewards system you can collect from each day upon first entering the event. Log-in rewards include memory crates, awakening hearts, ascension crystals, and more.
Here’s the full schedule of rewards you can get by logging into the Daily Buzz:
How To Edit The Tour Pass
During the event, you can create four DIY Tour Passes to keep as mementos of your time together — one per character. Creating the Tour Pass functions similarly to creating a cake in the DIY tab of the birthday events.
As you complete milestones in the minigames and tasks of Touring In Love, you will earn cosmetic items and stickers to use on your Tour Pass.
To edit your Tour Pass, select edit and enter the customization menu. From here, mix and match your unlocked elements to create the perfect souvenir. When you’re satisfied with your changes, select Save at the bottom of the screen.
However, because of the custom nature of Tour Passes, your designs must pass review before you can save them. This may take a few minutes to hours.
Don’t use offensive nicknames, slurs, or other inappropriate content in your Tour Passes as doing so will fail your Tour Pass design and repeated attempts may trigger corrective action.
You can upload photos from your in-game album and change the nickname of the Love Interest on your Tour Pass. You have 15 attempts each day to save Tour Passes.
At the end of the event, you will get to keep your Tour Passes as desk ornaments in the With Him menu.
Love’s Nostalgia
Love’s Nostalgia is an event where you can reminisce on your time with the love interests this past year. Here, you can spend Ribbons to unlock Echo Bottles on the Tree of Reminiscence.
You can unlock one Echo Bottle every day, but if you’re a few days behind, you can spend your ribbons to unlock Echo Bottles retroactively.
Echo bottles contain little conversations between you and the love interests about moments you’ve shared. Sometimes, these will reflect actual in-game memories and the main storyline, and other times, they’ll reveal new information about your relationship.
While a new Echo bottle unlocks each day, you can’t light it until you have a Ribbon to spend. To get Ribbons, hit Vitality milestones in the main menu. You’ll earn three Ribbons per milestone. There are five milestones in total, meaning you’ll have a total of 15 Ribbons to spend by the end of the event.
There are 14 Echo Bottles to unlock on the tree. It’s unclear what the fifteenth ribbon will unlock yet, but there will likely be a special reminiscence at the very end of the event.
How To Play Heart’s Pursuit
Heart’s Pursuit is one of two main minigames in Touring In Love. In Heart’s Pursuit, the love interests have to reach you at the end of the tour. If you’ve ever played Subway Surfers, the mechanics of Heart’s Pursuit will seem familiar.
In Heart’s Pursuit, the love interest will need to dodge obstacles and collect power-up points to increase their speed as they try to reach you. There are a few different obstacles to avoid, but the main way you’ll avoid them is by swiping up, down, left, and right.
For hurdles you can’t slide under, you need to swipe up. For hurdles you can slide under, swipe down. To change lanes, swipe left and right.
If you want to change lanes while in the air or on an elevated platform, you can either jump up and then swipe in the direction you’d like to move, or, if the platforms are level, simply swipe like normal.
You can also swipe down midair to force your character to land or swipe up from a slide and force them to stand.
For obstacles like the inflatable flower, you need to run over the pink pressure plate before you can pass through. Pressing the pink pressure plate will pop the flower and allow you to pass down that lane unhindered. Usually, there are special power-ups and energy orbs you can collect behind the flowers.
Each map will have different special obstacles to interact with, simliar to the flower. For instance, in Floral Park, spring pads will launch you into the air, while in Azure Seaside, crabs will ambush you from dirt piles if you get too close to them.
As you travel along the course, you’ll notice colored orbs you can collect. Collecting these orbs fills up your skill bar. When you’ve collected enough orbs to fill your skill bar, you can press the skill button and activate your character’s special skill. Each love interest has three skills to unlock.
Occasionally, you will find magnets and shields as you run. Magnets draw in orbs from adjacent lanes while you run. Shields will protect you from the next hit you take.
At the end of your Heart’s Pursuit game, you will earn Vitality points. Each day you will have a certain Vitality limit that you cannot exceed. For instance, if your limit is 350 Vitality, you can’t earn more than 350 Vitality points in one day per character.
Vitality points are collected in the main event screen and are used to unlock Ribbons for Love’s Nostalgia.
Additionally, there are four locations and two game modes you can enter in Love’s Pursuit with each location unlocking on a different day. Here is the schedule for when each location unlocks:
Location |
Date Unlocked |
---|---|
Sunny Market |
December 31, 2024 |
Floral Park |
January 04, 2025 |
Azure Seaside |
January 08, 2025 |
Linkon Walk |
Unlocked by completing the above locations |
Short Journey
In Short Journey, your love interest will need to cross a timed obstacle course to reach you at the finish line. You will be rated on a three-star scale at the end of the run based on how long it took your love interest to make it to the finish line.
The goal is to reach the finish line as fast as possible. To achieve this, avoid hitting obstacles and prioritize power-up collection. If you hit obstacles, you will earn time penalties that increase your overall course time.
The faster your obstacle course time, the more Vitality you will earn at the end.
Hearty Journey
Hearty Journey follows the same principles as Short Journey, but you will be scored differently. Instead of being timed on a finite course, you will have infinite time to run the course.
However, you are being scored on the distance you can run before running out of strikes. Hitting an obstacle will incur a strike. Incur three strikes and the game will automatically end.
The further you can run the course, the more Vitality you will earn at the end.
Love Interest Skills
Each of the Love interests has four skills that you can use during a run. The first skill is the active skill and is automatically available when you start the event. The other three skills are passive skills that will unlock as the event progresses.
The skills are as follows:
Skill |
Description |
---|---|
Active Skill |
You run faster for a short period of time. You can still maneuver between lanes and dodge obstacles when this skill is active. |
Passive Skill – Power Focus |
You can now store up to two Active Skill charges. |
Passive Skill – Stamina Surge |
Increases the maximum stamina you can use in Hearty Journey courses. |
Passive Skill – High Spirits |
You now have extra energy before each course attempt. |
Currently, some players are experiencing a visual bug that covers part of the screen with an opaque block of color when the Active Skill is charged. There is no known fix at this time.
How To Play Pile Parade
Pile Parade is the second main minigame in Touring In Love and one of the ways you can earn Vitality each day. If you’ve ever played Jenga, then the rules will be familiar to you.
In Pile Parade, you and your companion will be competing to see who can remove and replace the most blocks on a tower of blocks without the tower falling over.
Pile It Up
In Pile It Up, each turn has two parts to it: an item selection phase and a block selection phase.
You have three items that you can use in any round, but once you’ve used all three, you cannot play anymore. You can choose which three items to bring into a match before beginning the game. You must use or choose not to use an item at the beginning of each round.
The item skills are as follows:
Item |
Skill |
---|---|
Sleepy Donut |
‘Use the Sleepy Donut as a neck pillow and take a break next turn.’ You can play this on you or your opponent. |
Sweeping Roll |
‘This smug little roll isn’t shy about showing off! Randomly steals one item from your opponent.’ |
Resilient Toast |
‘This toast may look soft, but it’s tough as nails! Blocks one item attack.’ |
Helper Tart |
‘Helper Tart is here to help! Your opponent draws and stacks on your behalf in this turn. If they fail, they take the penalty.’ |
Prank Bean |
‘Time for some bean-powered mischief! Randomly transforms one of your opponent’s items into a Catless Cookie, making it useless.’ |
Catless Cookie |
Catless Cookies take up an item space in your item bar, but using the Catless Cookie will have no effect. Your character may make cute comments, though! |
You can play as many items as you would like to on your turn. There is no item use limit.
After using or skipping an item in the item phase, you may now select a block to move. To select a block, choose a block in the tower and either tap or drag it to remove it. After you’ve removed the block, you have to place it on the top of the tower.
You can alter multiple blocks in a round, but you can only fully remove one block. For instance, you can drag one block and rotate the whole tower to create chaos, but you can only remove one block before your turn ends. Dragging blocks can be a great way to sabotage your opponent.
You cannot remove blocks from the first two levels of the tower.
If the tower falls down on your turn, you lose. If it falls on his turn, you win. Losing the game will reduce the amount of Vitality you earn at the end, but you will still earn Vitality so long as you have not already reached your daily level cap for that character.
Point Mode
Point mode has not been unlocked yet and will unlock on January 06. However, in point mode, each block will have a different color with each color assigning a specific point value.
When you successfully stack a block, you earn the point value of that block color. If you pull multiple blocks of the same color in a row and line them up, you can earn a point combo.
If the tower falls over in Point Mode, you will receive a point penalty. If your score at the time the tower falls is under 50, you will lose 40 points. If your point score is greater than or equal to 50, you will only lose 20 points. Penalties will only be applied at the end of the game when determining the final score for the match.
Chibi Creator
Finally, you can customize your character’s chibi character for the event. Your chibi will appear in all 3D event parts, like Love’s Nostalgia and Pile It up.
To customize your chibi, select the head icon at the bottom right of your event menu. From here, you can edit your chibi to your heart’s content and apply your new look to the 3D chibi models in-game.
Current And Upcoming Events
Because Love and Deepspace is celebrating its first birthday this January, there are several anniversary-themed events to participate in all month long.
Nightly Rendezvous Wish Pool
Alongside Touring In Love, you can also pull four limited five-star memories from the Nightly Rendezvous Wish Pool and earn special development rewards for leveling these intimate memories.
Each limited memory follows you and the Love Interests as you spend time in each other’s embrace to ward off the winter chill.
Nightly Rendezvous runs from December 31, 2024, to January 20, 2025. You cannot obtain these memories after the Wish Pool closes.
Fondness Treasure
You can also play the Fondness Treasure Event and unlock advent tiles for special rewards, including four limited-time four-star memories that you cannot obtain once the event is over. Spend Fondness Vouchers to open advent days for a plethora of rare rewards.
Fondness Treasure runs from December 31, 2024, to January 20, 2025. You cannot obtain these limited memories through any other means after the event ends. Obtaining all four memories can take anywhere from four to one hundred Fondness Vouchers.
Each voucher costs 80 Diamonds in the items tab of the ‘Selected’ shop. You can also purchase vouchers using Diamonds by directly selecting an advent spot to open. You can purchase 20 Fondness Vouchers in the Tour Shop.
If you want to maximize your chance of obtaining at least one copy of the limited memories, only unlock advent slots up to the point where you unlock the four-star crate. Then, move to the next advent page and continue this process. You will spend fewer vouchers this way.
Imperishable Affection Video Editor
To wrap up your year with your companions, you can create special video edits using your collected memories in Imperishable Affection. You can watch a Spotify-Wrapped-style video recapping your yearly achievements as well from this menu.
Imperishable Affection runs from December 31, 2024, to January 20, 2025. You can permanently save your video to your in-game library to keep and replay once the event is over.
You will also earn Diamonds and Title rewards for completing each event component.
Miscellaneous Events
Finally, from January 06 to January 26, 2025, Kitty Cards now drops an extra token to be spent on the Winter Series of badges in Kitty Counter. You can also earn the limited-time plushie No-Wakey Elephant from December 23, 2024, to January 05, 2025.
From December 31, 2024, to January 19, 2025, you can also purchase limited-time Annual Pass rebates using real-world money. These passes offer weekly log-in rewards in three categories: Diamonds, Deespapce Wish: Limited, and upgrade materials.
