Purple Coins 1-3
Right behind the starting flagpole checkpoint, you can find three purple coins on the edge of the stage.
Purple Coins 4-6
Go past the initial flagpole at the start of the level and look to the left of the white top hat (the ones you can smack with your hat to make white platforms for Mario). You’ll see a trio of purple coins hanging out on the side. A good trick is to use your camera to get a good view.
Purple Coins 7-9
If you go east, past the first Chain Chomp near the start of the level, you’ll find some purple coins on a lower ledge.
Purple Coins 10-12
Go underneath the bridge that leads from the first section to the western one to find three purple coins hanging out underwater.
Purple Coins 13-15
A pole south of the T-Rex can be climbed up with Mario. Look behind some nearby rocks to find three more purple coins.
Purple Coins 16-18
Go to the area to the back and left of the abandoned Odyssey ship to find three purple coins on a rock platform.

You’ll reach the Stone Bridge checkpoint after smashing that large wall near the T-Rex/Chain Chomps. Look to the right and up from the sign nearby to see three purple coins in the distance atop some platforms.
Purple Coins 29-31
When you reach the backside of the mountain (before entering the pipe for the 2D minigame), look for a large stone platform with some coins on top of it.
Purple Coins 32-34
Before going up the pipe to the classic 2D sidescroller section, look behind some rocks to the left to find some sneaky purple coins. (we’re almost there!)
