Although the God’s Knights have not been fully revealed in One Piece just yet, fans know just from the portrayal in the story that they are tremendously powerful.

The God’s Knights were not mentioned in One Piece for the vast majority of the story. The first mention of the God’s Knights only came after the events of the Wano Country arc, which was a surprise to many fans. They are believed to be an elite group that exists in the Holy Land of Marijoa. Essentially, the God’s Knights are the fighting force of the Celestial Dragons, and they oversee just about everything in the land, such as the defense of the place, all the way down to the judiciary of the Holy Land. The God’s Knights possess mighty strength, as is expected of someone tasked with the job of protecting what can be considered to be some of the most important people in the One Piece world.

While all of their members have not been revealed to the fans, Oda has already shown a few in the story. At the same time, fans don’t know what their true strength is like, but, several individuals have been seen talking about the God’s Knights, which just goes to show that they are quite problematic, to say the least. Even the Fleet Admiral of the Marines, Sakazuki, openly claimed that the involvement of the God’s Knights in the affairs of the Holy Land of Marijoa does not bode well for his Marines as they have higher authority than just about every Marine in the One Piece world. There is not even a single Marine that exists in the story that has a higher authority than any member of the God’s Knights, which is a staggering statement, but certainly one that is true. This just goes to show the hierarchy within the ranks of the government in One Piece.

Why Some God’s Knights Might Be Yonko Level

The Leaders of The Holy Knights Must Be Especially Powerful

As has been hinted by Oda on many occasions, the God’s Knights are quite easily some of the strongest individuals in the story. Very few members of the God’s Knights have been revealed to the fans so far. But, fans certainly have heard other characters talk about them. For one, Sakazuki clearly suggested that they possess higher authority than the Marines, which means that their involvement in the affairs of the Celestial Dragons spells bad news for his organization. Similarly, Dragon was seen speaking about the God’s Knights as well. Following the attack of the Revolutionary Army on the Holy Land of Marijoa, Dragon was adamant that his true battle had not begun yet, even though the Revolutionary Army had clashed with the Admirals atop the Red Line.

According to Dragon, the real war would begin when the God’s Knights would make their move, which, once again, puts a lot of emphasis on them and goes to show that even Dragon, one of the world’s most powerful figures, is wary of these characters.

Yet another indication of the God’s Knights being incredibly overpowered is the fact that Oda openly showed them to be strong enough to rival the mighty crews of the One Piece world. 38 years ago, the God Valley Incident took place, and it was quite a surprise when Oda showcased the involvement of the God’s Knights in the clash during the Kuma flashback. Back then, the God’s Knights were being led by its Supreme Commander, Saint Garling Figarland.

It is believed that Garling established himself as a legendary figure during this day on God Valley against some of the mightiest pirates on the island, and returned from this battle without even a single scratch.

Clearly, if Garling and his organization could fight individuals such as the members of the Roger Pirates and the Rocks Pirates, then it is safe to say that their power level is close to that of the Yonko of the One Piece world.

Of course, this does not mean that every single member of the God’s Knights is Yonko level. It simply means that this establishment is strong enough to rival a Yonko crew, and might even hold an advantage over them. Fans don’t know much about their powerful members just yet, but, it is clear that they are going to be incredibly important in the final stretch of One Piece and be involved in the plot soon enough.

The Strongest Members Of The God’s Knights

Garling Figarland And His Son Are Especially Intriguing Characters To Watch Out For

Undoubtedly, the strongest member of the God’s Knights so far that fans have seen is Saint Garling Figarland. However, things surrounding his character are quite complicated right now. Garling was recently promoted to Five Elders. He is the current the Godhead of Science and Defense within the World Government. Previously, he held the title of the Supreme Commander of the God’s Knights. But, now that he has leveled up, it is unknown if Garling is to relinquish his old title and position or if he can do two jobs at the same time. The likelier outcome would be for Garling to relinquish his previous powers, due to him having bigger responsibilities to tackle, such as overseeing York’s development of the Mother Flame.

While Garling’s promotion to the Five Elders is exciting, it creates a power vacuum at the top of the God’s Knights, which means that a new Supreme Commander of the organization needs to be elected. Fans have seen two more members of the God’s Knights already, and one of them appears to be the son of Garling Figarland and the brother of Shanks. This individual is unnamed at this point, but he looks exactly like Shanks, even wielding a similar weapon. He is undoubtedly going to be one of the strongest characters in One Piece, likely similar to Shanks in terms of power level. There is also a bandaged woman, who possesses tremendous power as well.

The other members of the God’s Knights have not been revealed in the story just yet, but they are likely to be close in terms of strength. At full power, it is highly likely that the God’s Knights can hold their own against a Yonko crew in an all-out battle and possibly even go on to win. These are monstrously powerful individuals that Oda has introduced for a reason during the most chaotic segment of the story, and fans can only hope that they go on to leave their mark in the final saga, starting from the Elbaf Arc.
