If you’ve been playing Wuthering Waves ever since its launch, you’ve likely finished the main story of Jinzhou for a long time. Even though the wait was long, the second main region was finally released in the form of Rinascita, the only city unaffected by the Threnodian power during the crisis.
Carlotta was the first limited five-star unit released from this region and the first limited character using a pistol. While this makes her quite special, you can still use her to beat all the endgame content quite easily with the right build.
Best Carlotta Weapons
No character in Wuthering Waves will be able to do much unless you equip the right weapon on them. Unfortunately, the difference between a five-star weapon and anything lower can be quite massive in this game, but here are the best choices for her:

This is arguably one of the best weapons in the game providing you a whopping 72 percent Crit DMG as the secondary stat. Other than that, it also increases your ATK by 12 percent and Resonance Skill DMG by 48 percent. |

The echo system in Wuthering Waves can be quite complicated since you not only have to choose a proper set, but also a good primary echo and the right main and sub-stats on each one. Thankfully, Carlotta can be fairly simple to build in this regard:

Realistically, you’d want to use one four-cost echo with two of the other two types each. Crit Rate main stat is better on her, especially if you have her signature weapon.
As for sub-stats, you’d want to get as much Crit, ATK, and Resonance Skill DMG on Carlotta as possible. Some Energy Regen also doesn’t hurt.
Best Carlotta Team Compositions
Due to the limited roster of characters in Wuthering Waves, Carlotta doesn’t have a lot of choices. Thankfully, while she does have a phenomenal team with limited characters, she also has a decent one for F2P players. These teams area as follows:

In both cases, the main synergy with Carlotta is the outro skills of other characters. Shorekeeper can provide a massive overall buff to the characters in the field while Zhezhi can increase Carlotta’s Glacio and Resonance Skill DMG bonus. Taoqi and Baizhi do the same things but on a much smaller scale.
If you’ve managed to pull Verina on your account, you can also use her instead of Baizhi as a better sustainer and buffer.
Carlotta Forte Overview And Priority
Whenever you get a new character in Wuthering Waves, the first order of business is to understand how they work. With five main abilities, four of which have quite long paragraphs, Carlotta can be particularly difficult to understand. However, these points will make it much easier:
- Carlotta can gain three Moldable Crystals while performing various parts of her kit, enough that you don’t have to keep track of them as you’ll consistently get them. These crystals can be consumed by her basic attack, dodge counter, and Skill.
- Carlotta can gain Substance (forte bar) when she uses her intro skill or consumes Moldable Crystals. Once full, this bar can be used to trigger a special heavy attack that reduces her skills’ CD and the opponent’s DEF with the bonus abilities unlocked.
- Her skill can essentially immobilize enemies with the first attack while being able to perform special mid-air attacks after the second press. The second press deals higher damage based on the Moldable Crystals consumed.
- Her Resonance Liberation is the main bread-and-butter as this puts her in a special state where she can deal five instances of massive damage.
- Your Substance is removed while casting your Liberation, so you’d want to use it on your heavy attack before you do that.
With her kit in mind, it’s obvious that Carlotta’s Liberation is the first priority to upgrade. You can follow this with her basic attack, forte circuit, skill, and intro in that order. All her abilities are important to upgrade, which will consume a lot of your resources.
