Honkai: Star Rail’s Aglaea and the newest Trailblazer variant will debut as the first batch of Remembrance characters. The developers partially explained the mechanics of their respective Memosprites, Garmentmaker and Mem, in the Paean of Era Nova Special Program. For some players, however, this information only confirms what they’ve known for months about these summon units from the vast amount of leaks about them. Some rumors have also hinted at Memosprites attached to a beloved member of Honkai: Star Rail’s existing cast and a new character.
HSR has carefully teased information about Memosprites in the Version 2.7 and 3.0 livestreams. Here’s what the devs have confirmed so far.
- Memosprites Can be Targeted: Some allies can buff and heal Memosprites, and enemies can damage them.
- Memosprites Have Individual Abilities: The devs explained during the 3.0 livestream that Memosprites have an energy gauge that gains a charge when the main character does specific actions like using their skill or ultimate. When it fills up, the Memosprite can use its skill. Garmentmaker’s skill involves attacking a target and its adjacent units. Meanwhile, Mem can completely advance an ally’s turn and enhance their attack with True DMG, which ignores all buffs and debuffs to directly damage the opponent. This works similarly to Bronya and Sunday’s action advance skills.
- Some Memosprites Have Limited Time on the Battlefield: The devs also explained that Aglaea’s Memosprite eventually leaves the battlefield after several turns. It’s unclear whether Mem will do that as well. In any case, players can always resummon them through the main character’s Skill.

Mem’s Leaked Skills and Talents
According to a leaked screenshot from Dim, Mem’s action advance skill is called “Lemme! Help You!” The information, which is corroborated by fellow reliable leaker HomDGCat, also revealed that Remembrance Trailblazer’s Memosprite has some additional abilities.
- Memosprite Skill – Baddies! Trouble!: Mem deals minor Ice DMG to enemies, which bounces four times and deals additional damage to all enemies at the end.
- Memosprite Talent – Friends! Together!: This increases all allies’ CRIT stats when Mem is on the field. The talent also lets Mem use Baddies! Trouble! during their action when their gauge is lower than 100%. When their charge fills up, they’ll immediately take action to use “Lemme! Help You!”
- Memosprite Talent – Go, Mem, Go: Mem’s charge immediately fills up to 50% after they are summoned.
- Memosprite Talent – No… Regrets: When Mem leaves the battlefield, the Trailblazer advances their action by 25%.
Garmentmaker’s Leaked Talents
It seems that Garmentmaker only has their Thorned Snare attack as their only Skill, according to the leaks from HomDGCat and Dim. However, their Talents more than make up for their lack of a secondary Skill. Some of these descriptions have been discussed during the Paean of Era Nova livestream, but they weren’t described as Memosprite Talents yet.
- Memosprite Talent – A Body Brewed by Tears: Garmentmaker increases their SPD after attacking their enemy with Aglaea’s “Seam Stitch” mark. Furthermore, they’ll prioritize damaging enemies marked with Seam Stitch.
- Memosprite Talent – The Speeding Summer: Garmentmaker acts immediately after Aglaea summons them.
- Memosprite Talent – Bloom of Drying Grass: Aglaea gains 20 Energy when Garmentmaker leaves the fight.
Memosprites’ Leaked Traces
Dim’s leaked Memosprite screenshots also showed that Mem and Garmentmaker occupy two minor trace slots in Trailblazer and Aglaea’s trees for their Memosprite Skill and Memosprite Talent. It seems that these traces will take up slots that would otherwise be allotted to the main unit. Therefore, players can expect to farm the same amount of materials they’ve always farmed for other characters.
Possible Future Memosprites
A popular HSR leaker, Uncle Guoba, indicated that Castorice may release in Version 3.2 and that their Memosprite will be a Dragon. A “Dark March 7th” could be a possible Memosprite in future versions, according to Dim. These leaks don’t go into much detail, as the playtest data for these possible future Memosprites are still incomplete. There’s no guarantee that they’ll make it into the game, either.
