A recent Honkai: Star Rail leak is detailing the effects of a pair of new Planar Ornament sets expected to be introduced during Version 3.1. Throughout the playable worlds of the HoYoverse sci-fi RPG, there are a variety of ways for players to power up their in-game characters, both through new items and each character’s unique skills. Traces act as upgrades to a character’s individual skills, while players can acquire Light Cones and Relics to provide powerful bonuses suited to each roster member’s playstyle. Now, two new sets of Planar Ornaments are being teased.
Planar Ornaments serve as some of Honkai: Star Rail‘s most elusive upgrades, primarily found within the Simulated Universe game mode. Players can acquire new Planar Ornaments within Star Rail by clearing Elite and Boss floors within the roguelike game mode, with each “World” in the Simulated Universe featuring different sets. Unlike Relics, Planar Ornaments only feature two different types of Equipment, boasting more powerful boosts to everything from raw stats to Elemental Damage. A pair of new Planar Ornaments are now set to arrive to Star Rail just after the launch of its next world.

Honkai: Star Rail Leak Teases New Planar Ornaments
A recent update shared by prominent HoYoverse leaker Shiroha provides detailed statistics for Honkai: Star Rail‘s newest Planar Ornament sets. The first set features a heavy focus on critical hits, increasing Crit Rate by 8% and providing 30% additional damage if the wearer’s Crit Rate is above 70%. The second set features similarly-structured bonuses framed around the wearer’s HP, increasing the character’s HP by 12% and boosting the wearer and their Memosprite’s Crit DMG by 25% when their HP is greater than 5,000. The leak did not provide names for either Planar Ornament set.
- Unnamed Set 1: Increases Crit Rate by 8%. If Crit Rate is greater than 70%, increases additional damage by 30%.
- Unnamed Set 2: Increases HP by 12%. If HP is greater than 5,000, boosts the Crit DMG of both the wearer and their memosprites by 25%.
The new Planar Ornament sets are expected to pair well with multiple upcoming members of Honkai: Star Rail‘s playable cast. Despite her leaked position as a Harmony character, Tribbie is expected to deal significant damage with the new set providing greater boosts to her Crits. Mydei’s position as a Destruction character will likely mean he benefits from high HP totals as well. The Planar Ornament sets are expected to launch with Honkai: Star Rail‘s Version 3.1, currently believed to be releasing on February 25.
The debut of Amphoreus to the HoYoverse sci-fi RPG is already expected to bring numerous highly-anticipated characters to the game. Version 3.0 will finally introduce Herta’s long-awaited real form with The Herta, alongside the game’s first S-Rank Remembrance character with Aglaea. HoYoverse has also teased several cast members set to come beyond Version 3.1, including Castorice, Anaxa, and Phainon among others. The launch of Honkai: Star Rail‘s newest world should look to bring a little something for all fans of the RPG.
