According to Alex Perez during a recent Q&A for The Cosmic Circus, Gambit is expected to be part of Avengers: Doomsday alongside notable X-Men characters Charles Xavier and Beast. This is an interesting decision as it would begin to push the X-Men story into what Marvel is doing, potentially setting things up for even bigger ideas down the line once more mutant characters have been introduced.
