A new survey leak shows many surprising and seemingly impossible new ideas possibly being considered for upcoming Fortnite collaborations.

Now, the game is rumored to be expanding its real-world merchandise even more, as known Fortnite leaker HypeX claimed on Twitter that a pair of Adidas sneakers themed around the character Peely might hit stores on March 22. In the image attached to the tweet, the shoes appear to be bright yellow sneakers with banana–themed iconography and a symbol on the side that references the game.

Real-Life Fortnite Sneakers Might Be On The Way

As of right now, there is no official confirmation as to the plan for rolling out these sneakers, but the image provided is seemingly official, and the shoes would be in line with some of the recent additions to the game’s cosmetic items on offer. In the latest season, developer Epic Games rolled out wearable in-game sneakers called Kicks as wearable cosmetics.

Epic Games has expanded players’ options when it comes to real-life merchandise in recent years as well, recently unveiling an exclusive Fortnite DualSense controller for the PS5 full of iconography from the game. The developer has also collaborated with LEGO to produce some sets based on characters and items from the game along with official in-game modes featuring LEGO figure versions of its many available skins.

The newest season of Fortnite has proven massively popular overall, as players welcome new additions to the game’s various weapons and a slew of crossovers with major pop culture icons across its multiple game modes. Godzilla from Legendary’s Monsterverse films is on the way soon as a bonus unlockable skin, and there is reportedly a collaboration with the popular anime Demon Slayer on the way in the near future, as well.
