Elden Ring: Best Weapons In Limgrave
Within the vastness of Limgrave, players can find some of the best weapons in Elden Ring.
When it comes to items to look out for, there are rare weapons, which either have a very low drop rate or are hard to find, and then there are hard-to-get weapons. The latter are usually obtained by defeating difficult bosses or exploring challenging areas, making players work for them if they want them.

Giant Crusher
Easy To Obtain, But Hard To Reach Its Location
Physical Damage |
155 |
Requirements |
Strength (60) |
Scaling |
Strength (C) |
How To Get |
Found inside a chest in a carriage, south of the Outer Wall Phantom Tree Site of Grace |
Players who like exploring The Lands Between with a character with a Strength build will probably have heard about the Giant Crusher. This massive weapon can deal a ton of damage, but it also requires a whopping 60 Strength, which is not easy to get.
This weapon’s Strength scaling isn’t anything special, but it’s not terrible either, making it great for Strength builds, and extremely overpowered with certain buffs. To find it, players will have to search for a carriage next to the Outer Wall Phantom Tree Site of Grace. Obtaining this weapon once players are in the area isn’t too hard, yet the challenge lies with reaching that point on the map. A build that combines the Giant Crusher and a good shield can decimate several enemies quickly.

Sword Of Night And Flame
Located In A Very Challenging Area For Early-game Stages
Physical Damage |
87 |
Requirements |
Strength (12), Dexterity (12), Intelligence (24), Faith (24) |
Scaling |
Strength (E), Dexterity (E), Intelligence (D), Faith (D) |
How To Get |
Found in a locked room behind the gardens on the east side of Caria Manor |
The Sword of Night and Flame is not particularly powerful when it comes to the Physical damage that it deals. However, it has some decent Magic and Fire damage to it, which makes it an exceptional choice for most Tarnished.

With Elden Ring, FromSoftware set a new standard for open worlds in role-playing games.
One of the greatest things about this weapon is that it scales with Strength, Dexterity, Intelligence, and Faith, making it ideal for players who want to create a balanced build. This weapon can be found in Caria Manor, which can be a bit tough with all the Fingercreepers and spirits in the area. If players are determined to explore Caria Manor, trying to find some of the best early-game weapons can help.

Eclipse Shotel
Castle Sol Is Full Of Challenging Foes
Physical Damage |
77 |
Requirements |
Strength (10), Dexterity (25), Intelligence (30) |
Scaling |
Strength (E), Dexterity (D), Intelligence (D) |
How To Get |
Found at the altar of the church in the southeast area of Castle Sol |
Other than looking great, the Eclipse Shotel doesn’t really have many things to its advantage. Except for the additional Holy Damage that it deals, it’s not really a high-damage weapon. This doesn’t mean it’s not useful, as it can be great against enemies who are weak to this type of damage.
As opposed to other weapons on this list, the Eclipse Shotel is not obtained by defeating a challenging boss, but rather by exploring Castle Sol, a very difficult area ridden with deadly enemies. This area contains two Lion Guardians, a few spirit knights, wolves, and other dangers. Castle Sol isn’t mandatory, but it is necessary to gain access to Miquella’s Haligtree and fight Malenia. Exploring is always recommended in Elden Ring, as it helps unlock new areas and discover the various endings available.
4
Blasphemous Blade
Rykard Is A Force To Be Reckoned With
Physical Damage |
121 |
Requirements |
Strength (22), Dexterity (15), Faith (21) |
Scaling |
Strength (D), Dexterity (D), Faith (D) |
How To Get |
Obtained by trading the Remembrance of the Blasphemous with Enia at the Roundtable Hold |
The Blasphemous Blade is one of those weapons that not only looks great, but also has a very interesting special skill. Players can use this weapon and slam it into the ground, launching a fiery attack that spreads throughout the ground in front of them. What makes this weapon particularly hard to get is that it is obtained by trading the Remembrance of the Blasphemous with Enia at the Roundtable Hold. This Remembrance is obtained by defeating Rykard, who’s very difficult to defeat, and has a massive health pool.
Elden Ring’s latest DLC trailer showed enemies from the Dark Souls universe, including who appears to be the Nameless King. Other enemies seem to also be making a reappearance, so it’s not farfetched to think that Rykard could be seen again.
3
Maliketh’s Black Blade
Defeating Maliketh Is Quite An Accomplishment
Physical Damage |
127 |
Requirements |
Strength (34), Dexterity (12), Faith (20) |
Scaling |
Strength (C), Dexterity (E), Faith (D) |
How To Get |
Obtained by trading the Remembrance of the Black Blade with Enia at the Roundtable Hold |
When players first encounter Maliketh, it’s common to assume that he will not pose a challenge and that his boss fight will be easy. However, as soon as players enter the second phase and fight this formidable foe at full strength, they’ll quickly realize that he’s a serious threat.
Once players defeat Maiketh, they will receive the Remembrance of the Black Blade, which they can trade with Enia at the Roundtable Hold for Maliketh’s Black Blade. The weapon, in and of itself, is pretty good, but what makes it stand out is how hard it is to obtain, given how challenging and unrelenting Maliketh’s attacks are. Using a few Sacred Seals and buffs can make the fight easier, but it will never be outright simple.
2
Hand Of Malenia
Great Moveset, But Extremely Tough To Obtain
Physical Damage |
117 |
Requirements |
Strength (16), Dexterity (48) |
Scaling |
Strength (E), Dexterity (C) |
How To Get |
Obtained by trading the Remembrance of the Rot Goddess with Enia at the Roundtable Hold |
Before the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC was released, Malenia was widely regarded as the hardest boss in Elden Ring. And while she still poses a significant challenge, she does seem a bit simpler compared to a few bosses in the DLC.

Elden Ring: 8 Hardest Bosses For Mages, Ranked
While mage builds can be powerful in Elden Ring, some bosses will give magic-slinging players a run for their money.
To get the Hand of Malenia, players will have to defeat the Goddess of Rot and then give the Remembrance of the Rot Goddess to Enia at the Roundtable Hold. This weapon does considerable Physical Damage and allows players to use Malenia’’s classic and dangerous Waterfowl Dance. Albeit, in a less powerful form.
1
Greatsword Of Radahn (Lord)
Without A Doubt, The Hardest Boss Weapon To Get
Physical Damage |
129 |
Requirements |
Strength (32), Dexterity (24), Intelligence (15) |
Scaling |
Strength (D), Dexterity (D), Intelligence (E) |
How To Get |
Obtained by trading the Remembrance of a God and a Lord with Enia at the Roundtable Hold |
Lastly, there’s the Greatsword of Radahn, which is obtained by giving the Remembrance of a God and a Lord to Enia at the Roundtable Hold. This weapon is arguably the most difficult one to get in the entirety of Elden Ring, as it requires players to defeat Radahn in his prime, the hardest boss in both The Lands Between and the Land of Shadow.
Although there might be other weapons in the game that are stronger or have better special skills, the Greatsword of Radahn is still a great addition to any Tarnished’s arsenal. That is, if players have the patience to learn Radahn’s attack patterns and defeat him.
