EA shut down all kinds of games last year, from popular mobile titles to beloved console games like Battlefield 3. Unfortunately, EA is going to continue shutting down games in 2025, with the company so far confirming 13 titles that will be shut down this year. While this is certainly disappointing, the good news is that EA has given fans enough advanced notice to get in their final games before the servers are sunset.

Out of these, the ones likely to sting the most for EA fans are The Simpsons: Tapped Out and NCAA 14. NCAA 14, meanwhile, has been the go-to college football game for many fans for years. One has to wonder if the recent release and massive success of EA Sports College Football 25 has played a role in NCAA 14 being shut down. It being trapped on the PS3 and Xbox 360 means that its shutdown may not impact all that many players, but it’s still a disappointing development nevertheless.
