As you progress through Palworld, there’s a lot to understand about its mechanics, even if they seem simple at first. However, you’ll need to master all of them, along with the various materials and resources required for crafting specific items or building structures at your base. In addition, you’ll encounter many pals in the open world, each offering unique benefits.

Each pal in the game either drops a specific material you need, can produce a material, or can assist with base tasks. Some can even be used as mounts or fight alongside you in combat. Gildane is one of the land mounts you can acquire, and this guide will show you where to find it.
Where To Find Gildane
Another Pal introduced with the Feybreak update in Palworld is Gildane. This Ground-type Pal can be exclusively found in the desert areas of Feybreak Island, located at the edges of the map.
If you’re looking to quickly add this Pal to your roster, there are a couple of easy locations where you can find Gildane.
The first is located just north of Feybreak Island, near the Scorched Ashland fast travel point. West of this point, you’ll spot Gildane roaming the area.
- The coordinates are -840, -835.
The second location is to the far west of the island, just north of the Foxparks Cryst Alpha boss fight.
- The coordinates are -1303, -1259.
Depending on your approach, when you reach Gildane’s location, you can either defeat it for some Leather materials or, even better, capture it.
In order to capture Gildane, you’ll need to engage in combat, and we recommend using a ranged weapon. Once its health is low, throw a sphere at it – preferably from behind to increase your chances of capturing it.
Gildane is a valuable addition to your catalog, as it can serve as a great mount for easy land traversal. If you decide to place it in your base, however, its work suitability is limited, as it only has a level two in Gathering.
Gildane can also be a decent combat Pal, though it’s not among the strongest.
