Several of Ubisoft’s big open-world titles from recent years are being offered up to Xbox users for pennies on the dollar. These huge discounts are running simultaneously to Xbox‘s massive 300+ game “Last Chance” sale, which is due to end on January 13.
Xbox has been known to constantly be running sales and offering up discounts for its gamers alongside its popular Game Pass subscription service. One part of these sales is the “Just For You” page of the Xbox store, which curates discounts for titles based on the individual gamer’s personal tastes. Anything from base games to special and enhanced editions of games, to even DLCs and expansions have been known to pop up for players in this part of the Xbox store. It’s a great way for players to grab extra content for games they already own, or to find new games based on their personal Xbox history, all at a discount.

Right now, Ubisoft is offering a number of its massive open-world titles as part of Xbox gamers’ “Just For You” pages. Pure Xbox has reported that major Ubisoft games are being discounted by up to 90% off in the Xbox store. Games like Assassin’s Creed Origins, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Watch Dogs 2, and Far Cry 5 are available to buy and own for around $5. The latest RPG Assassin’s Creed title, 2020’s Valhalla, is available for around $12. It seems that these specific Ubisoft discounts are only available for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, and each Xbox user will have a different lineup of Ubisoft discounts than the next, based on their personal tastes.
Big Ubisoft Discounts Are Being Offered In Xbox Store’s ‘Just For You’ Page
The most recent Ubisoft game that seems to be on offer is its 2021 extreme sports live service game Riders Republic, which is up for about $6. It doesn’t seem like any of Ubisoft’s more recent 2024 games, like its award-winning 2D metroidvania Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, or its open-world Star Wars Outlaws game, have made the cut. Even 2023’s Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and Assassin’s Creed Mirage seem to be missing from these discounts. The prices of these newer entries likely can’t be dropped as low as older titles like Far Cry 5 or Watch Dogs 2, so it seems they may have been omitted from these discounts entirely.
Delayed out of 2024, Ubisoft’s next big Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed Shadows, is due to be released on February 14. The game is set in feudal Japan and stars Naoe and Yasuke, two playable protagonists each offering a different style of play. Fans should be able to expect Ubisoft to keep offering franchise discounts in the weeks leading up to Assassin’s Creed Shadows‘ much-anticipated release.
