The Strongest Dark Knights Members

Every member of the Dark Knights is a twisted and evil version of Batman, warped in ways unimaginable that would see Batman use his intelligence to steal the powers of allies from other worlds with different members of the Justice League.

Batman may be a beloved superhero in the main universe of DC Comics, but the Multiverse often holds sinister antics for the Caped Crusader.

The Drowned’s physical abilities make her a match, if not a superior, to Aquaman himself. Her unwavering devotion to murder and her hatred of metahuman makes her intensely strong, and with the power of her trident, she could easily have killed other heroes of the definitive Earth if she was not stopped by Batman.

Considering Green Lanterns cannot kill living beings with their rings, Bruce overcharged his Lantern Ring to kill again, and again.

A murderer who would execute any wrongdoer in Gotham, Bruce would soon be apprehended by the Green Lanterns, only to use his overcharged Lantern Ring to kill them all, including the Guardians. Imbued with darkness and green energy, the Dawnbreaker would grow in immense power to rival all Lantern Corps.

The Devastator

The Batman Who Became Doomsday Itself

the devestator
  • First Appearance: Dark Days: The Casting #1 (September, 2017)
  • Created by: Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo
  • Earth of Origin: Earth -1

Despite Batman’s love of Superman, there was an immense distrust in his ideals of hope – much like all variants of Batman have a contingency plan. This Batman held onto the Doomsday Virus, and when Superman lost his mind and started destroying the world, Batman had no choice but to infect himself with the Doomsday Virus to become the one monster that could kill Superman and put an end to his genocide against Earth.

Yet, the Doomsday Virus destroyed his world, and this former hero, now reborn as the Devastator, would watch his world burn, with the newly found purpose of his existence being to eradicate the Multiverse of Superman. A Doomsday who is not just a mindless killing machine, but one with the brain of Batman, is one who should always be feared.

A picture of Red Death
  • First Appearance: Dark Days: The Casting #1 (September, 2017)
  • Created by: Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo
  • Earth of Origin: Earth -52

Batman of Earth -52 came to the bitter conclusion that the reason everyone in his life dies, is simply because he just isn’t fast enough. To counter the inevitability of death, Batman stole death itself by using the Flash to breach the Speed Force and drive the two of them with the Batmobile on the Cosmic Treadmill into the Speed Force itself, merging their bodies and stealing his powers.

The Red Death was born, and the consciousness of Barry Allen would be an irritable voice of mercy in Bruce’s head, but that wouldn’t stop this former hero from murdering his way across his Earth. This is a Flash with Batman’s intellect and dedicated desire to murder those against him, and his speed will kill anyone in an attosecond.

The Batman Who Laughs

The Leader of the Dark Knights Who Would Conquer the Multiverse

the batman who laughs, laughing
  • First Appearance: Dark Days: The Casting #1 (September, 2017)
  • Created by: Scott Snyder, Greg Capullo
  • Earth of Origin: Earth -22

Bruce Wayne of Earth -22 became an unstoppable mass murderer across the Multiverse after he killed the Joker and became infected with his DNA, which would provide Batman with the insanity and lack of morality he needed to be his ultimate self. The Batman Who Laughs would slaughter his world, and lead Barbatos’ Dark Knights into the Multiverse. The Batman Who Laughs is extremely intelligent and has no line he won’t cross even past the deaths of his soldiers.

The Batman Who Laughs has been a menace in the DC Universe, even after the loss of Barbatos, and he would become the Darkest Knight, and even use the body of a dead Dr. Manhattan to be of ultimate power to rebuild the Multiverse in his image, which would have been entirely possible if it wasn’t for Wonder Woman.
