Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro began serializing in Magazine Pocket in November 2017. It continued its run till July 2024. According to the last available report, Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro has sold over 3.3 million copies, which is by no means a bad number.
The anime adaptation of the series was announced back in 2020, but it didn’t air until April 2011. The next season was announced in October 2021. Most of the staff involved in the initial season reprised their roles except for Hirokazu Hanai, who was replaced by Shinji Ushiro. Telecom Animation Studio was replaced by OLM Entertainment. Don’t Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro’s second season was released in January 2023. A third season has yet to be announced, but since the manga is already over, it shouldn’t be too long.
