MOONTON Games has kicked off the Shining Start series events and the events Calendar in their popular MOBA, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), bringing in a lot of events and rewards in the game, some of which are already live. MLBB players are in for a treat, as they are about to get numerous skins, ranging from normal, elite, special, and epic skins, available throughout January and February as part of the Shining Start series events.
MLBB Shining Start series events Calendar for January – February 2025
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has announced via X (formerly known as Twitter) that the Shining Start series events are now live in-game. You can also check about it in-game, by navigating to the Events section in-game, then selecting the News section, and finally scrolling down to Events Preview. This series of events is packed with a lot of exciting rewards, including a lot of skins, which you can get for free.
Here are all the events that are scheduled for January and February month:
1. Shining Start – Valir’s New Skin
The first event in the Shining Start series is already live in-game, where you can obtain Valir‘s new elite skin, Arcane Seeker, for free by completing Daily and Bonus Tasks. It also includes other rewards such as Double Exp Card: 3-Day, Double BP Card: 1-Day, Epic Skin Trial Card Pack (1-Day), Empire Chevalier Medal, Hero Fragments, and Small Emblem Packs.
To get Arcane Seeker skin, you will require 180 Revelation Badges, which are easy to obtain, as you can get 12 Revelation Badges from Daily Tasks, and 120 Revelation Badges from Bonus Tasks, which are fairly easy, although you will have to play a few ranked matches.
2. Debut Reward
From January 10, 2025, to January 30, 2025, you will have the opportunity to get a Lane Choice Random Epic Skin Chest by participating in the event. Hopefully, it will follow the same format as the Epic Skin Challenge Event.
3. Shining Start – Draw Special Skins for Free
The next event, starting on January 23, 2025, will offer you a chance to get a special skin for free. It will include skins such as Diggie‘s Constellation, Valir‘s Shikigami Summoner, and Kimmy’s Charge Leader, among others.
4. Spring Festival Event
On, January 24, 2025, there will be another event for the Spring Festival, where you will be able to obtain various exclusive items for free. These rewards will include Spawn Effects, Battle emotes, and more.
5. Random Basic Skin Chest
From January 30, 2025, to February 9, 2025, MLBB will host a new event offering a Random Basic Skin Chest for free. The chest will feature various basic skins like Paquito‘s Death Blow, Guinevere‘s Fleur de Bleau, and Odette‘s Black Swan, to name a few.
6. 1 of 10 free Special Skins
On February 7, 2025, another new event will begin, where you will get the opportunity to exchange tokens to get one of the 10 Special skins. This includes skins like, Alice’s Divine Owl, Uranus‘ Pinball Machine, Natalia‘s Midnight Raven, and more.
7. Valentine’s Day Event
From February 14, 2025, to February 23, 2025, the game will introduce a Valentine’s Day event, where you can get exclusive Valentine’s Day-themed permanent items, such as Spawn Effects, Battle Emotes, and more.
I am pretty excited about the Shining Start series events and very grateful to MLBB for providing us with so many free rewards, including a lot of exciting skins, right at the start of the year. This is a great opportunity for players to increase their skin count and overall Collector level. However, do note that this whole series will run until February 23, 2025.
