One of the most intriguing aspects of Palworld is its variety of unique Pals. While the Pals you encounter early in the game might seem relatively ordinary, as you explore new areas, the Pals you come across become increasingly fascinating.

Of course, you’ll also encounter more powerful and useful Pals along the way. There are plenty of Pals that are incredibly handy, both for your base and your team. So, how about trying to catch one of the more mysterious and eerie-looking Pals this time—Omascul?
Where To Find Omascul
Omascul, owl-like and masked, is a mysterious Dark-type Pal. This elusive Pal can only be found in a specific location. To encounter it, you’ll need to head to Feybreak Island. However, this area is filled with high-level Pals, so it’s highly recommended to be at least level 50 before venturing there. Otherwise, the dangers you’ll face could be fatal.
Feybreak Island is a fusion of various biomes, located in the southwest of the map. Flying into the island with an airborne Pal can be tricky, as anti-aircraft devices might shoot you down before you can enter. Using a swimming Pal to approach the island is a safer option.
You can find Omascul in the southeastern part of Feybreak Island, specifically in the areas with purple soil. Omascul can appear both during the day and at night. These Pals will typically be above level 50, and since they are Dark-type, using Dragon-type Pals against them will give you an advantage.
If your goal is to capture Omascul, you should at least use a Legendary Sphere. However, using Ultimate or Exotic Spheres will increase your chances significantly. Additionally, each Omascul you defeat or capture will drop a material called Dark Fragment, which is essential for crafting certain items.
Where To Find Alpha Boss Omascul
Feybreak Island is also home to an Alpha Boss Omascul. If your aim is to capture a more powerful version of Omascul, this should be your target. The coordinates for Alpha Boss Omascul are –1184, -1489. This Alpha Boss is level 55, so it’s advisable to have Dragon-type Pals on your team before engaging in the fight.
Partner Skill & Work Suitability
Omascul’s Partner Skill is Masquerade Dance. While this Pal is on your team, all Pals in your party will earn additional experience points. This makes leveling up your Pals significantly faster, saving you valuable time.
In terms of Work Suitability, Omascul is quite weak. With only a Gathering level of one and no other notable work abilities, it’s not well-suited for tasks in your base.
