Most of the Anemo Traveler’s mechanics revolve around casting their Elemental Skill and Burst. Moreover, if you build your Anemo Traveler with 4pc of Viridescent Venerer, it will take advantage of the Anemo supportive capabilities through every Swirl reaction in Genshin Impact. For this reason, you want to focus on using the Traveler as an Anemo Support to deal Anemo DMG and trigger the Swirl Reaction as often as possible. The Anemo Traveler doesn’t need fancy stats like ATK or the Critical ones. All they need is Elemental Mastery and Energy Recharge.
As for the best 5-Star weapon, opt for Freedom-Sworn as it increases the Anemo Traveler’s Elemental Mastery and fully unlocks their status as a Support by increasing their entire team attack and Normal, Charged, and Plunging DMG. Alternatively, Key of Khaj-Nisut and Skyward Blade are also viable. Geo Traveler can be a decent Sub-DPS if they get their hands on the right build. Their playstyle changes the shape of the battlefield as they spam their Geo constructions. As a Sub-DPS, the Geo Traveler will barely spend time on the field, so it’s better to equip a set that buffs their team. 4pc of Noblesse Oblige and 4pc of Archaic Petra are the best options for applying this kind of buff. Electro Traveler is one of the best batteries in Genshin Impact, but that isn’t all that the Electro Unit can do. They can be a really good trigger for Hyperbloom teams in Genshin Impact. Since the amount of regeneration the Traveler grants scales with Energy Recharge, you should build the Electro Traveler to have as much Energy Recharge as possible.
If you want the Electro Traveler to play the role of a battery in Genshin Impact, all you have to do is give them 4pc of Emblem of Severed Fate and Favonius Sword. Both Emblem and Favonius are easy to get, on top of maximizing the Energy regeneration the Electro Traveler can offer for their team. However, adding some Elemental Mastery while building the Electro Traveler on 4pc of Flower of Paradise Lost will allow them to be part of Hyperbloom teams on top of greatly regenerating their team’s energy.

Surprisingly, Dendro is one of the best Elements for the Traveler in Genshin Impact. It even has a decent build that can help their team deal a lot of damage through Dendro reactions in Genshin Impact. The Dendro Traveler also has a good Dendro application through their Elemental Burst, which helps them take advantage of the effect of the 4pc of Deepwood Memories. With that set, the Dendro Traveler can keep shredding enemies’ Dendro resistance and help their team deal more Dendro DMG.
The Dendro Traveler’s scaling is decent enough for them to operate as a Sub-DPS in Genshin Impact. For that, giving them Elemental Mastery, Dendro DMG, and Crit items is viable for their build.
