Nintendo expanded its Lego collection beyond Mario alone in 2024 by releasing its first Animal Crossing sets and finally confirming that the rumors it was working on a debut set for The Legend Of Zelda were true. The two-in-one Great Deku Tree set was released in September, and to kick off 2025, Lego has finally made the set available to buy on Amazon.
The bad news is Zelda’s first Lego set isn’t any cheaper on Amazon than it is if bought directly from Lego, although it is more likely to be discounted in the future now it’s on Amazon. The good news is now it’s on Amazon you don’t have to wait for it to arrive if you’ve been bumping up against Lego’s restocks. The Deku Tree is on backorder at Lego right now whereas if you buy it on Amazon, it could be on your doorstep within the next 24 hours.

The Zelda set is an elaborate one, hence the $299.99 price tag. At 2,500 pieces, it’s almost bigger than any other Nintendo set to date, the only ones standing over it in that regard being the Lego NES and The Mighty Bowser, both of which are interestingly slightly cheaper. The additional cost is likely due to the fact The Great Deku Tree is technically two sets while the other two, slightly larger Nintendo sets are only one.

The Great Deku Tree has been featured in multiple Zelda games, looking slightly different each time it appears. That gave Lego leeway to be a little inventive and the first decision you need to make once you bust open the set’s box is which Deku Tree you want to build first. Follow one set of instructions and you’ll end up with the tree that appears in Ocarina of Time. Go the other way and you get the design used in Breath of the Wild.
Regardless of the build you go with, you will have Minifigures based on Link and Zelda’s looks in both games to place within it once you’re done. Link also has the Master Sword and his Hylian Shield, and you’ll notice him speaking with a little Korok in one of the images above.
The Legend Of Zelda Great Deku Tree 2-in-1 Lego Set
The Legend Of Zelda’s first-ever Lego set is technically two Lego sets. Modeled after The Great Deku Tree, which has appeared in multiple Zelda games, the set will resemble the tree from Ocarina Of Time if built one way, and the tree from Breath Of The Wild if built another way. Minifigures of characters from both games are included with the set.
The Zelda set’s arrival on Amazon is part of a typically busy start to the year for Lego. Lego always releases a slew of new sets to kick off the year and more than 140 of them were added to its store on January 1. The Deku Tree is also joined on Amazon but all of Fortnite’s sets, each of which comes with an in-game bonus bundle when bought on Amazon.
