Disney Dreamlight Valley‘s Storybook Vale expansion pass has brought so many new ingredients and recipes to the game. With many new biomes being introduced, players have a lot of materials and ingredients that can now be collected to craft and cook other items.

One of the new items within these new biomes is Golden Apples. These are used for a handful of new recipes that are included within the Storybook Vale collection. These apples are an ingredient. Players will need to be able to cook certain dishes that can then be used to replenish their energy and fulfill orders at the restaurant. How To Get Golden Apples

To unlock Golden Apples, it will require players to do a couple of different requirements. The first important thing to note is that players will need to have the Storybook Vale DLC. If they do not own it, they will unfortunately not be able to get Golden Apples or make any of the dishes that the apples are required to make.

Upon walking into Storybook Vale, the player should head into the room where the Storybook awaits. Turn right and head up those stairs, head all the way to the edge where the inking sits, and remove it for 2,000 Story Magic – players can get Story Magic by completing different tasks around the Storybook Vale – this will open up the door for the player to head into Mythopia.

Once in this Magical land, the player will need to find Goofy’s Stall and upgrade it to level 2. The initial unlock cost will be 3,000 Star Coins, the first upgrade is 6,000 Star Coins, and the second upgrade is 12,000 Star Coins. When purchasing the final upgrade, the player will unlock Golden Apples.

These Golden Apples cost around 220 Star Coins each from Goofy’s Stall, sell for 110, and can restore up to 250 Energy when consumed. They can be used for some recipes such as:

  • Aphrodite’s Delight (2 Star Meal, Restores 1,070 Energy, Sells for 234 Star Coins)
  • Golden Apple Pie ( 3 Star Meal, Restores 894 Energy, Sells for 268 Star Coins)
  • Golden Apple Smoothie (2 Star Meal, Restores 985 Energy, Sells for 299 Star Coins)
  • Loaded Golden Apple Porridge (4 Star Meal, Restores 1,570 Energy, Sells for 566 Star Coins)

All of these recipes range between 2 stars to 4 stars and can help restore energy that would be consumed by finishing quests. These recipes also sell for a good amount of money if you ever need to make some quick coins to help gather other supplies to finish other quests.
