Disney Villains We Want To See In Kingdom Hearts 4

Kingdom Hearts 4 will release with its own set of worlds and new characters including some sinister villains. The series has been delving into many Disney and Pixar movies. Sora and his friends interacting with classical characters also relive nostalgia, and fans are anticipating some villain to appear in the latest game.

Kingdom Hearts 4: 10 Things Square Enix Should Include

It’s never too early to speculate about franchises we love so here are 10 things we want Square Enix to include in Kingdom Hearts 4.

Most of these villains end up joining hands with the evil factions in Kingdom Hearts, such as The Heartless. We have also fought many of them as final bosses of their respective worlds for a showdown. Some characters shown to have excellent combat ability in the movies will be exciting to fight in the games.

1

Cruella De Vil

Cruella looks at a portrait of dalmatians.

Cruella De Vil is one of Disney’s most popular villains, and it’s about time we see her character as a villain in Kingdom Heart 4 as well. She doesn’t care much about the cruelty she inflicts on the poor dalmatians and how they try to get away from her clutches in the original movie.

Kingdom Hearts series has touched 101 Dalmatians as side-content in the games. So, it seems that Cruella is already lurking in the Kingdom Hearts worlds, so it is likely for the series to bring Cruella into the spotlight. She is either making her own faction or joining the Heartless.

2

Shere Khan

Disney Shere Khan in the jungle.

Shere Khan is a tiger many of us remember from our childhood in the Jungle Book movie. The tiger is a fearsome figure in the movie, and he is feared by all other animals. Despite this, Mowgli’s friends try to protect him from Shere Khan.

Jungle Book is one movie that has remained unexplored in the Kingdom Hearts series. But Shere Khan is a prominent villain in the Disney world, which the developers might consider adding in the latest game. If Kingdom Heart 4 brings him, you might see Sora again in his animal form.

3

Syndrome

syndrome from the Incredibles shoots a stasis beam.

The Kingdom Hearts series did not delve into Pixar movies until recently. So, it’s likely that The Incredibles world gets added in Kingdom Heart 4. Syndrome, the movie’s main antagonist, is a despicable character who tries to eliminate all superheroes on Earth. We might see some strong action between the superheroes and this villain if this world makes it to the game.

If Kingdom Hearts collabs with Fortnite, these are the characters we need to see.

Fighting the boss while he is using his superpowers-style technology might be exciting to experience in Kingdom Hearts 4. Syndrome might even join some evil factions to exact his revenge on the Parr family.

4

Emperor Zurg

Emperor Zurg in Disneyland Adventures.

We have already experienced Toy Story in Kingdom Hearts 3, but Emperor Zurg was greatly missed. He is the archnemesis of Buzz Lightyear, which makes him significant enough to deserve an appearance in the games. His sole purpose is to destroy Buzz Lightyear, so his resentment may lead him to become a Heartless.

If Emperor Zurg were to become a final boss in a Toy Story world, we can expect some laser beams in a space setting. However, things might get exciting if the Buzz Lightyear version of the emperor ends up appearing in the game. Either way, it’s about time this iconic character made his well-deserved appearance.

5

Maleficent

Maleficent stretching her arms out with her magical staff.

Maleficent has certainly become an icon due to her major role as an antagonist in the Kingdom Hearts series. Despite being a Mistress of Evil, Maleficent helped Sora against the battles with Nobodies in Kingdom Hearts 2. She didn’t have a major role in the third game, but she might make a triumphant return in the fourth installment of the series as a merciless antagonist.

Kingdom Hearts 4 would seem incomplete without her, considering the important roles she played in almost every game. If anything, her final appearance in the previous game hinted at her return to the future games.

6

Pete

Pete in Kingdom Hearts 3 wearing armor and looking at the camera.

Where there is Maleficent, Pete is sure to follow, as he is loyal both to her and his cause. Pete has a strong resentment against King Mickey and the characters who dwell in the Royal Palace. This is mainly due to his plans failing in the animated series multiple times.

While Pete has committed some unforgivable deeds, he still provides comic relief in every Kingdom Heart game. From what we have seen from the previews of Kingdom Hearts 4, the narrative is likely going to get grittier, so having a funnier villain is necessary to serve as a break from the serious events going around.

7

Ernesto De La Cruz

Ernesto is one of the most charismatic villains Disney has produced, debuting in the movie Coco. Since the Kingdom Hearts franchise is already delving into Pixar movies, it’s about time we also see the game version of Ernesto along with the aesthetic world of Coco.

Ernesto is likely to pose as an innocent guy to Sora and his friends. However, his fake mask will be torn apart, revealing his true nature. Ernesto has done certain merciless things in the movie for the sake of his fame. So a heartless Ernesto boss might seem like a plausible final boss for the world.
