One Piece chapter 1135 was quite easily one of the most anticipated chapters and fans saw quite a lot of exciting developments in the story being made here. Of course, while Elbaf has a lot of intriguing elements, such as the character of Loki, One Piece chapter 1134 saw to it that everyone’s attention was fixated on just one individual, and that was Shanks’s twin.
This character was finally introduced to the fans towards the end of the chapter, and it was unclear as to why he was there in the first place. However, One Piece chapter 1135 sees to it that the reason for their visit Is explained, and it is safe to say that things are heating up even more in this country of Giants.
Shanks’s Twin Arrives In Elbaf
- Shanks Twin Made His Appearance In One Piece 1134
- He’s Accompanied By A Bandaged Woman
Shanks’s twin was first teased in the story in One Piece chapter 907. Back then, fans saw Shanks’s twin meet with the Five Elders. Of course, since the existence of this character was still a secret, fans did not know that this person was actually Shanks’s twin. Back then, every single fan of the story simply went on to assume that this person was none other than Shanks himself. However, One Piece chapter 1134 finally explained the fact that this character was not Shanks and could not possibly have been him. As fans know, Shanks left Elbaf not that long ago and is currently sailing the seas with the Red Hair Pirates. He punished Bartolomeo recently, and since then, was seen sailing towards an unclear location. The person who spawned in Elbaf using a summoning circle was, thus, a completely different person with a face similar to that of Shanks. As fans know, this person is most certainly Shanks’s twin, and with him is a mysterious bandaged woman, whose identity remains unknown at this point in time.
I want to talk about a certain pirate! – Shanks’s Twin
Towards the end of One Piece chapter 1134, fans saw a massive bolt of black lightning strike the castle towards the Western Elbaf Village. Inside the castle, a massive summoning circle was formed on the floor, and flames emerged from it as well. Two individuals popped up, and as fans know, this summoning circle is the work of someone from the World Government. This is the same summoning circle that was used by the Five Elders in the Egghead Arc, which essentially confirms that this Shanks twin is most certainly a member of the Holy Knights. Unfortunately, fans did not get to see why this individual was in Elbaf in the previous chapter, which is why all attention was turned to One Piece chapter 1135.
Shanks’s Twin Wants To Get To Loki
The Target Might Be The Legendary Devil Fruit Of Elbaf
Fans were wondering as to why Shanks’s twin was in Elbaf over the course of the last week, and now, Oda has provided them with the answer. It has been made clear that the duo that emerged out of the summoning circle in Elbaf is seeking out Loki. This was made clear in One Piece chapter 1135 when two giants who were guarding the castle in Elbaf Village came across the hooded individuals. Naturally, they asked the individuals about their business, and whether they were connected to the Straw Hat Pirates in any way. To this, the individuals replied that they are seeking out someone named Loki because that is who they have business with.
I’m the Sun God who will destroy the world! – Loki
Of course, as fans know already, Loki is tied up for the crime of killing his own father and there is absolutely no way that the Giants of Elbaf will give away his location so easily. But, Shanks’s twin and the mysterious bandaged woman did not like the answer they received. The latter went on to punish the Giant, and is attempting to force the answer out of him, which means that they will soon have the location of Loki and will go on to meet him potentially soon enough.
The question arises as to what business Shanks’s twin could have with Loki. Right now, fans can’t say for sure. What they do know is that Loki has a special bounty on his head, unlike any other seen in One Piece. It is also made clear in the story that Loki has a special Devil Fruit, one that was passed down from one generation to another in Elba. Loki consumed the Devil Fruit around 6 years ago, and has held its power since. Perhaps, this devil fruit is what the Holy Knights, and by extension, the World Government is seeking, which could be why they were sent to this country to begin with. But, this brings up the question of why the World Government did not attempt to seek this Devil Fruit sooner.

Colon’s father is a huge mystery right now. His father could be a former member of Roger’s crew in One Piece.
The world government could have gotten this Devil Fruit far more easily, provided they would not have faced any opposition from Luffy at all. Of course, there is certainly going to be a reason as to why they chose this time to attack Elbaf and it will be revealed soon enough in the story.
Will Loki Fight Shanks’s Twin?
Loki Will Be Seen In Battle Soon Enough
At this point, a battle between Loki and the Holy Knights from the World Government seems inevitable. The Holy Knights will go on to meet Loki in the Underworld, and this is where fans will find out quite a great deal of information about him. For one, something that has been highlighted time and again in One Piece is the fact that Loki killed his father. Everyone seems to be claiming this information as a fact, which, if fans know Oda’s style, should make them question whether this truly did happen or not.
It is entirely possible that Loki was framed for King Harald’s murder and that the murder was committed by someone else entirely. If fans might remember, Loki recently called Shanks a spineless pirate, and this could very well connect to this situation. If the one who actually murdered Loki’s father, King Harald, was the twin of Shanks, then, perhaps that explains why Loki has a low opinion of him, and why he doesn’t like him. Loki could have been framed after having consumed the Devil Fruit to protect it from the Holy Knights, but the Giants could potentially have seen it as a sign of him having murdered his own father.
This could also explain why Shanks sought out Loki earlier when he visited the country. Perhaps Shanks wanted to set the record straight and tell Loki that he had nothing to do with the death of King Harald, and that the person responsible for it was actually his brother. These developments are going to be incredibly exciting moving forward in Elbaf, and fans know that eventually, Shanks’s twin is going to come face to face with Loki and a major battle is going to ensue. Things can’t get more exciting in the Elbaf arc of One Piece, and hopefully, Oda will pick up the pace from here and deliver even more exciting chapters moving forward.
