Astro Bot – Trunk of Funk Puzzle Piece 1
Right when Trunk of Funk starts, you’ll fly on the ship for a few seconds. After passing two coin boxes, look out for a cave on the right side with a puzzle piece at the end of it as a reward. If you miss it, just do a quick restart.
Astro Bot – Trunk of Funk Bot 1
Behind the big dehydrated plant, you’ll see a Bot riding atop a deer. Go ahead and smack it to rescue it.
Astro Bot – Trunk of Funk Bot 2
Continue on the path until you spot a big pink mushroom. There’s one of those driller mole enemies in front of it, so deal with it, and then rescue the Bot on the ‘shroom.
Astro Bot – Trunk of Funk Puzzle Piece 2
You’ll find a mole holding a golf ball on the right side of the tree. Aim correctly, and smack the ball into the goal hole near the tree. The puzzle piece will appear once you get it in. If you miss it, The mole will return with a new golf ball, so don’t worry about getting it right on the first try.
Astro Bot – Trunk of Funk Bot 3
After you exit the giant tree and hit a checkpoint, look to the right to find a lone purple blob on a far platform. Use your platform-growing costume to reach it. Look on the platform behind the monster to find a Bot trapped in a bird’s egg inside a nest.

Astro Bot – Trunk of Funk Bot 4
When you reach a checkpoint with a huge smiley face balloon, return inside and turn around to find more platforms higher up. They will lead to a nest with a string underneath that you can pull to find a hidden Bot.
Astro Bot – Trunk of Funk Bot 5
After you pass the smiley face balloon, you’ll see a line of coins leading to a faraway platform. The Bot is over there. However, skip the coins for now and head to the upper platform, passing the purple goop monster. Hit the checkpoint, grab the ooze from in front of the large heart-eyed caterpillar, and use your magic platforms to reach the Bot.
Astro Bot – Trunk of Funk Bot 6
Instead of going to the right when you see the caterpillar with heart eyes, go left to find a hidden area. Push in the correct block by feeling the vibration on your PS5 controller, and you’ll find the Spirit Guide Bot inspired by Kena.
Astro Bot – Trunk of Funk Puzzle Piece 3
When you pass the honeycomb section, you’ll find another giant plant in front of a smiley face balloon. Use the nearby honey pad to get some air, then defeat the plant. You’ll see a puzzle piece trapped in honey, so suck it up and grab it for your collection.
Astro Bot – Trunk of Funk Bot 7
Eventually, you’ll see a zipper on the wall behind two of those enemies that have liquid inside of them for you to suck up. Defeat them after they toss their hats (or heads?) at you, and then unzip the wall. Enter the new area and head to the left to find another Bot on a honey pad.
