In an interview with 4Gamer, Masayoshi Kikuchi, the same director who worked on the original Jet Set Radio games, teased some news for the franchise’s 25th anniversary. “I’m still working on a new Jet Set Radio game. Incidentally, 2025 marks the 25th anniversary of Jet Set Radio, so I’m thinking about how to celebrate it,” said Kikuchi. While he didn’t explicitly say that anything new would be shown for the anniversary, he did hint at the Jet Set Radio reboot revealed during The Game Awards 2023. Sega is also working on new games for their old, dormant IPs. Crazy Taxi, Shinobi, Streets of Rage, and even Golden Axe currently have new entries in the works.
Jet Set Radio Reboot News May Be Incoming

Sega fans may be pleased to hear that the original creators of the Jet Set Radio franchise are back for its reboot. Sega figurehead Shuji Utsumi mentioned in a Washington Post interview that the original developers of JSR are involved with the new game.
