Classroom of the Elite – 2nd Year‘s manga adaptation came to an end in the latest issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Alive magazine. The manga adapts the light novel of the same name. Having an alternative to a light novel does not seem like a big deal, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Readers who are accustomed to reading manga often struggle with light novels. So, manga adaptations are a blessing for such people.

Luckily, a new manga adaptation was announced. The new manga is called Classroom of the Elite – 2nd Year – 2nd Stage, and it will be illustrated by Komada Hachi.

Classroom of the Elite Is Very Popular Among Fans

Classroom of the Elite is a light novel series written by Shōgo Kinugasa and illustrated by Shunsaku Tomose. All the chapters from the light novel were compiled and released in 11 volumes. Upon its conclusion, a sequel titled Classroom of the Elite: Year 2 was announced. It has been in print since January 2020.

Due to its popularity, a manga adaptation of Classroom of the Elite was announced. It was illustrated by Yuyu Ichino and published in Media Factory’s Monthly Comic Alive, starting in January 2016. The chapters have been compiled into 22 volumes. The illustrations for the manga adaptation of Classroom of the Elite: Year 2 were done by Shia Sasane.

Classroom of the Elite has also released a spin-off manga for which the artwork was handled by Sakagaki. It was focused on Suzune Horikita, the deuteragonist of the series. This particular manga was released in June 2017, and it continued till May 2018.

Classroom of the Elite Anime Adaptations Have Been Excellent

Classroom of the Elite’s first season was released in July 2017. Due to the positive reception, it was picked up for another two seasons. The second season aired in July 2022 and finished in September 2022. Classroom of the Elite’s third season was supposed to be released in 2023 but had to be delayed due to various reasons. It was finally released in January 2024, and the final episode aired on March 27, 2024.

During a livestream event, a fourth season was announced, and it will cover the first semester of Year 2. A release date for the fourth season has not been announced, implying that it could be a ways away.
