Minecraft has been a gaming staple for over 15 years now, from the early versions all the way to the game it has become today. Over the years, there have been some incredible community creations in Minecraft. So many, in fact, that it has become quite difficult for these creations to stand out from the crowd. It takes something unique to get noticed. Just recently, another Minecraft player built an incredible replica of the Krusty Krab from SpongeBob, showing how many gamers even choose to create places from other franchises in the game.

A talented Minecraft player shares the colorful mesa village they built within Mojang’s ever popular open-world sandbox game.

Redditor sushi-btw shared their incredible Minecraft build, a golden Mewtwo based on the iconic Pokemon. The entire build is made up of gold blocks, each of which is made with nine gold ingots. The exception is in the eyes, which are made up of diamond blocks. All in all, the player claims it took “like 10 shulkers” worth of gold blocks, which, to put it simply, is an insane amount of gold to be collected. Most impressively of all, they claim to have built it in Minecraft Survival Mode, meaning they gathered all the resources for the build themselves.

Of course, getting all the gold together for this type of build could take months. According to sushi-btw, they had a “pretty insane gold farm that I’ve afk’d for days at a time” that has allowed them to achieve this in Survival Mode, which makes more sense. As for the build itself, they completed it with the help of a 3D model-to-schematic website, which showed them where to place the Minecraft blocks. They claimed they “don’t have the requirements to design something like this.”

It’s expected that 2025 will be a big year for Minecraft fans. Of course, the Minecraft movie adaptation is set for release in April 2025, but on the video game side, Mojang is set to continue its recent new update structure. This ensures that Minecraft gets smaller updates more frequently, which helps to keep the game feeling fresher for returning players. Minecraft remains one of the most popular games in the world, and there’s no reason to suggest that it will drop off at all in 2025.
