While visiting the Rostok base, you’ll meet the Barkeep underground, who has a search and rescue mission lined up for Skif in STALKER 2. He’ll explain how a group of bandits have taken refuge in the Red Forest region, and they’ve been robbing the Freedom and disrupting business. The mission can become a little lengthy considering you’ll have to travel to the Red Forest by foot, which is quite a lot of distance from Rostok base. You’ll also be taking on several bandits in the camp, which can become tough.

Finding the Missing Group (Optional)
Although finding the missing group is an optional objective, it’s recommended that you head there first as it’ll pave the way for an easier entry into the bandit camp. Head over to the warehouse where the missing group was last spotted.
Reaching the location, you’ll find the dead bodies of the group that you can loot for some extra items. Go inside the warehouse and head left into a locker room to find a wounded member of the group named Carl. Use a medkit to revive him, and he’ll give Skif a key to access the tunnels.
Getting Inside the Bandit Base in Red Forest
To access the tunnels, you’ll need to head up the stairs next to the locker room and cross the walkway to the other side of the warehouse. There’s a hole in the group with a ladder on the side. Climb down using it to reach the entrance of the tunnels.
The tunnels are filled with toxic fumes, so you’ll have to crouch most of the way to avoid damage. After progressing through the tunnels, you’ll spot a ladder leading up to the higher portion of the tunnel. Climb it over and take down the bandit on top. Moving further will lead players into the opening of the tunnel and into the bandit camp.
Eliminating All Threats in the Bandit Base
Once you enter the bandit camp, you’ll need to take out all the bandits attacking you. Make sure to position yourself in a spot that has a lot of cover as there are a lot of bandits in the area and will shoot at Skif from all directions. Once the bandits are taken care of, you’ll encounter a Pseudogiant charging your way.
The Pseudogiant has a lot of HP and can be quite difficult to take down as it staggers Skif to the point he falls on his back. The best strategy here is to climb one of the containers and shoot the Pseudogiant from a safe distance. Once it’s taken care of, take the electronic collar off the mutant (optional), and head towards the far end of the bandit camp.
You’ll spot some big boxes stacked up nearby to help you reach the top office of the Bandit Camp. Use the pipes on the side of the building to enter through the window and take out the last bandit in the camp. This will mark the “Just Business” side mission as complete, and you can head back to the Barkeep at Rostok to claim your reward.
