It’s time to usher in the New Year, and not just in the real world, but in Final Fantasy 14, too. The Heavensturn event has returned and this year you can bag yourself an adorable new minion – the Great White Tsuchinoko!

There are also a couple of new furnishings available from this year’s event too. As always, the event only lasts for a limited time, running from today until January 16, 2025 at 6.59am PST/14:59 GMT. Seasonal quests cannot be completed after this time, so ensure you get everything finished before then.

‘Heavensssturn Trivia’ Seasonal Quest Walkthrough

Hebi Bugyo in Final Fantasy 14.

You can start this quest by speaking with the Hebi Bugyo at (X:11.5, Y:13.9) in Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks.

You must be Level 15 or above to start this quest.

  • After the cutscene, speak with the Blue Hebi Yoriki at (X:11.1, Y:12.7) and choose ‘Fair fortune’.
  • Next, go to (X:10.8, Y:10.5) and speak with the Yellow Hebi Yoriki. The correct answer this time is ‘White’.
  • Finally, go to (X:10.3, Y:7.9) and speak with the Red Hebi Yoriki. Choose ‘Rice cakes’ as your answer.

Return to the Hebi Bugyo at (X:11.5, Y:13.9) to complete the quest. You’ll get your The Great White Tsuchinoko minion and unlock the ‘Great White Serpent of Squidge’ achievement.

There are two new furnisings to unlock this year, and you don’t even need to complete the seasonal quests to get them. Simply speak with the Hebi Shonin, the Fesitval Supplier, in Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks at (X:11.3, Y:13.6) and you can purchase them.

What Are Omikuji?

You can speak to the Far Eastern Omikujishi at (X: 11.7, Y:14.2) in Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks to draw your Omikuji, which is a fortune. Drawing Omikuji is 100 gil each time you do it.

You cannot review past fortunes once you close the window, so make sure you grab a screenshot if you want to remember it.
