A Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies player received a Christmas surprise in the form of a glitch that transports gamers outside the Liberty Falls map in the limited-run Jingle Hells mode. The legendary COD franchise is well known for releasing high-octane holiday modes to celebrate the festive season. This season, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies players will be able to battle it out in Jingle Hells mode against the backdrop of Xmas trimmings until January 3, 2025.
In the past, Call of Duty fans have been treated to many Christmas variants during the season of joy. The first iteration of a themed map was for Call of Duty 4 Modern Warfare, featuring a snow-covered version of the Crash map and no shortage of decorations. However, Jingle Hells takes it further than its predecessors by adding frozen rounds that freeze adversaries and double XP for players and weapons.

A dedicated Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies player reached a new high round, breaking a record previously thought to be impossible.
A Redditor who goes by SMH24679 recently shared a video of their experience with a new winter glitch. After killing a zombie adorned with reindeer antlers, they pick up a present that drops in its place. Upon collecting the gift, the player is instantly transported out of the map and plunged into an unknown location with no way out. The unfamiliar teleportation site appears to be a dried-up riverbed that bears no resemblance to Liberty Falls in Black Ops 6.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Player Discovers Jingle Hells Glitch That Kicks Them Out of the Game
For roughly 20 seconds, they roam about, exploring the surroundings before eventually being kicked out of the game. The glitch represents the latest in a string of bugs that have plagued the game since its release, including the Christmas events and modes. In addition to Jingle Hells mode, Black Ops 6 players can access Archie’s Festival Frenzy event until January 3, 2024. The event is loaded with rewards that are exchanged for Jolly Archies; however, it too has seen its fair share of annoying bugs.
Treyarch has yet to publicly address the Zombies glitch, and with the Christmas break, it may not be fixed before the mode ends on January 3. Fortunately, this bug does not appear to be as widespread or frustrating as others, such as the Black Ops 6 multiplayer demote bug. For the most part, it’s just a weird anomaly that results in being teleported to a strange place for a few seconds.
