A base to rest in and a personal stash to store all your collected loot are necessary if you plan to explore The Zone in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. You’ll be collecting a lot of ammo, healing items, weapons, and gear pieces during your exploration sessions. It’s essential to know the location of the nearest base so you can either sell necessary loot to earn coupons or store the items you need the most. How to Unlock All Bases in Stalker 2
After completing the Behind Seven Seals mission, the complete map in Stalker 2 opens up for players to explore. If you want to unlock other bases in the game, you can simply visit those regions and enter the bases using the locations mentioned above (except Pripyat). Once you visit a base, it’ll automatically show up on the map for you. Make sure to quickly save the game right after that happens.
In some cases, there’s a bug where a base shows up on the map but isn’t available for fast travel from other bases. If that happens, make sure to sleep in the bed of a newly discovered base at least once. Another thing you should do is use the guide of said base and fast-travel to another base as a safe measure. This is a sure way to unlock new bases in Stalker 2, so you can easily fast travel between them and use all their facilities, including personal stashes and vendors.
