Zenless Zone Zero Leak Shows Buffs for 1.5 Shiyu Defense
A new update shared by prominent Zenless Zone Zero leaker New Eridu News Stand is showcasing the different buffs for Version 1.5’s Shiyu Defense. According to the post, the first rotation will feature the “Short-Range Combat” buff, boosting Crit DMG by 20% and increasing ATK teamwide when triggering Quick Assist. “Unbeatable Stance” will come during the second rotation, increasing Fire and Ice damage by 20% and buffing the damage and Energy provided by Chain Attacks. The final rotation, “Lightning Quick,” increases Impact by 25% and reduces enemies’ Defense when hit by Chain Attacks.
Phase 1
- Short-Range Combat: Agent’s Crit DMG is increased by 20%. Each time the Agent uses Quick Assist, the entire team’s ATK is increased by 10%, stacking up to 4 times and lasting 15 seconds. Triggering again refreshes the duration.
Phase 2
- Unbeatable Stance: Agent’s Fire and Ice DMG are increased by 20%. Chain Attacks deal 40% more damage, and each time a Chain Attack is triggered, the Agent restores 5 energy points.
Phase 3
- Lightning Quick: Agent’s Impact is increased by 15%. When the Agent’s Chain Attack hits an enemy, the enemy’s DEF is reduced by 25% for 10 seconds. The DEF reduction effect cannot stack.
As with past updates, Version 1.5’s Shiyu Defense looks to heavily benefit Zenless Zone Zero‘s newest characters. Astra Yao is expected to make heavy use of Assists and Chain Attacks through her kit, likely seeing significant benefits from the boosts coming to Shiyu Defense. Evelyn will also debut as a new Fire Attack character, benefitting from the Fire and Crit bonuses available during the first two rotations. The Version 1.5 update is currently expected to launch on January 22, with Astra Yao rumored to appear in the first half of the update and Evelyn in the second half.
Zenless Zone Zero‘s Version 1.5 will look to follow up one of the largest patches since the urban action RPG’s release. Version 1.4 saw the debut of two of the game’s most highly-anticipated characters in Hoshimi Miyabi and Asaba Harumasa, alongside the conclusion to the “first arc” of Zenless Zone Zero‘s story. The update also introduced a major expansion to Hollow Zero alongside new game modes like the previously mentioned Deadly Assault and “Array Mode” within the game’s Story missions. Version 1.5 looks to continue Zenless Zone Zero‘s momentum with new characters and game mode updates.
Don’t go into the Hollows.
I know, I know, there’s Ether in the Hollows, bizarre creations, even heritage of the old civilization, all precious treasures. But don’t forget, there’s also spatial disorder, monsters and mutants running rampant, and ultimately, a disaster that could swallow the world. They are not a place where ordinary people should go.
So don’t go into Hollows.
Or at least, don’t go in alone.
If you insist on getting into danger, go to New Eridu first.
This city where the good and the bad mix has many people who need the Hollows: Powerful wealthy tycoons, gangs that stalk the streets, conspiracy nuts, and ruthless officials.
Make your preparations there, find strong allies, and most importantly—
Find a “Proxy”.
Only they can guide people out of the maze-like Hollows.
Good luck!
