How to Get the Secret Celebi Emblem

To get the Celebi emblem, you will need to complete the Tale of Adventure Themed Collection Mission. This is one of Mythical Island’s Secret Missions and is completed by collecting one copy of each of these cards: Mythical Slab, Budding Expeditioner (2-diamond rarity), Mew ex (2-star rarity with the rainbow border), and Celebi ex (the immersive variant).

All these cards can be pulled from the Mythical Island booster packs. However, players can also purchase them from the Pack Point Exchange Shop. You will need 2,890 Pack Points to unlock the entire Themed Collection. See the table below for details:

Why Celebi Emblem’s Secret Mission Doesn’t Work

Some players have reported being unable to unlock the Celebi emblem, even after collecting all the featured cards for the Tale of Adventure mission. This issue is usually due to non-matching cards. The Celebi emblem mission requires the exact versions of Mew ex, Celebi ex, Mythical Slab, and Budding Expeditioner. Alternative variants of these cards won’t trigger the reward.

It’s usually the rainbow-bordered Mew ex that’s causing the issue. A lot of players think that other variants of this card can act as placeholders and unlock the reward. Unfortunately, this secret mission is only revealed if you unlock the rainbow full art variant.

Other Emblems of the Mythical Island Expansion

Celebi isn’t the only Pokemon to get an exclusive emblem in the Mythical Island expansion. Mew, the mini-set’s mascot, also has its own emblem, which can be purchased in the shop. To get Mew’s emblem, you’ll need 100 Green Emblem Tickets, which can be earned by completing Mythical Island Themed Collections and Dex Missions.

Unlike other seasonal cosmetics, the Mew emblem isn’t a limited-time offer. You can continue to purchase it from the shop even after the release of Pocket’s next expansion.

How to Equip the Celebi Emblem

Here’s how to change or equip emblems:

  1. From the main menu, tap your avatar (icon) at the top.
  2. Tab the plus (+) icon under the “Emblem” tab.
  3. Select the Emblem you want to equip.
  4. Tap “OK.”

Each player can equip up to three active emblems, which are visible to opponents before PvP matches. While these cosmetics don’t provide any gameplay advantage, rare emblems can serve as a badge of expertise, signaling to opponents that the owner is a seasoned player with an impressive card collection—sometimes adding a bit of psychological pressure.
