Marvel Rivals Season 1 Expected Release Date
As of now, the developers haven’t announced the official release dates for season 1. However, the new season is expected to be released during the first week of January 2025. Creative Director Guangyun ‘Guangguang’ Chen has hinted that the current pre-season will last for about a month.

While official announcements are still pending, leaks circulating online suggest that three new heroes—Ultron, Mr. Fantastic, and Blade—could join the Marvel Rivals roster in Season 1. According to these rumors, Ultron might serve as a strategist with healing capabilities, while Mr. Fantastic and Blade are anticipated to join the duelists.
In addition to the anticipated Season 1 content, Marvel Rivals is currently hosting a Winter Celebration event, running from December 20, 2024, to January 9, 2025. Players can immerse themselves in a limited-time game mode of Jeff’s Winter Splash Festival, in which they get to control Jeff the Land Shark.
