The best part about playing Strinova is being able to try various new agents to learn their abilities and figure out how they work with the game’s unique stringified mechanic. Even if the abilities are something you’ve used before, this mechanic adds a new layer to them.

Fuchsia is one of the strongest characters to play in Strinova, but she can also be a detriment if you don’t play her right.
This is especially true for aggressive agents like Ming since there’s a high chance you’ll get ambushed by stringified enemies while pushing with her. Thankfully, she has a few tricks of her own to uncover hidden enemies.
Ming Abilities, Explained
Ability Name |
Description |
---|---|
Sunder Blast |
Upon using this ability, Ming fires an orb in the direction where she’s aiming. When this orb hits an enemy or if you trigger it again, it turns into a sphere field that slows enemies while damaging their armor and boosts her speed. |
Aegis Absorb |
Dealing damage to enemy armor or shields regenerates Ming’s armor. This effect has higher regeneration during her ultimate. |
Shield Surge |
When you activate this ability, Ming gets temporary armor that regenerates when you hit enemies, while this skill also gets extended. Hitting enemies also applies a stacking slow effect on them. |
Best Ming Loadout
Apart from having a skill that can damage enemies, Ming also has a phenomenal automatic rifle as the primary weapon that can easily delete enemies in just a few shots. This also lets you deal high damage in long-range so Ninjato is the best secondary weapon for her to deal the last hit when your bullets run out.
Since Ming is an aggressive pusher, the combination of flashbang and smoke bomb serves her the best. You can use the smoke to get close to the enemies and then use her skill with the flashbang to push out of it. This will let you get some easy picks without taking any damage, and the little damage you take will be regenerated from her passive.
Once you use this trick, the enemies might expect it. At this point, you can also use smokes as a decoy to distract the enemies.
Going for Static Siphon for Ming’s awaken ability is the obvious choice even though you’ll only hit one enemy with her skill for the most part. You can also try using the Volt Charger once you get some reduced cooldown on her skill, which allows you to use it as a self-defense ability.
Other than that, here are some important upgrades for her:
- Heavy armor
- Base damage for firing
- Headshot damage for critical hit
- Recoil handling for accuracy
Tips To Play Ming
Ming can be a rough character to learn at first, but these tips will make it a little easier:
- Ming is essentially the most basic agent of Strinova since you’ll be relying on your aim more than anything else. Her abilities might help you deal a bit of damage, but if you can’t hit your shots, you’ll easily become a liability for your team.
- While Ming does have armor regeneration, it’s not high enough to warrant pushing into multiple enemies by yourself. It’s important to play with your team and get the entry to the site for them.
- Aiming at enemies becomes a lot easier during Ming’s ultimate, but it’ll take some time and experience to get used to it since you’ll have to figure out how much you need to move your crosshair since the enemies will move a lot less than normal.
