How To Play Flavia In Strinova

When you play on the defending side in Strinova, the goal is to mainly sit in different sites and wait for the attackers to push. This is primarily because you have no idea where the enemies are, and if you try to push them, they’ll hear you and easily defeat you, especially if you’re alone.

If you want to play Eika in Strinova, you’ll have to get accustomed to getting close to the enemy.

However, things are different when you play aggressive agents like Flavia since she has the ability support to freely flank the enemies and easily back out if they’re expecting you and try to defeat you.

Flavia Abilities, Explained

Here are all the abilities that help Flavia be an aggressive character even on defense:

Phantom Mirage

For this skill’s duration, if Flavia takes damage to her HP, she transforms into a butterfly, becoming invincible for a bit while also leaving a phantom orb that near-sights the enemy, which can be destroyed.

Retribution

The cooldown for Flavia’s skill decreases as she takes damage, and she can even get some temporary ultimate points when on low health.

Phantom Flutter

Creates a sphere at your location, making you invisible to enemies outside it unless you attack them. If an enemy inside the sphere defeats you, you’ll instead trigger the phantom butterfly effect from the skill.

This can be done multiple times as long as you’re in the sphere and the enemy attacking you is as well.

Flavia’s primary weapon is an SMG that has a high fire rate by default, but doesn’t deal as much damage as other aggressive characters. Due to this, there might be times when you almost defeat an enemy but they have a bit of HP left as your bullets run out. For these situations, Athena is the perfect secondary weapon.

You can also use this to deal a bit of long-range poke damage to the enemies since Flavia’s SMG doesn’t deal a lot of damage at range. As for the tactical items, the best ones to use with Flavia are a normal grenade and a smoke bomb. Since Flavia needs to flank the enemies often, you can check off-angles with the grenade.

Once you’re in a game with her, you can also get certain upgrades to make her gain HP when her skill is triggered. The Butterfly Veil awaken ability is the better one since it allows you to turn into a butterfly on demand instead of relying on the skill’s duration. However, Butterfly Armor might be a better one at high ranks since people will shoot the orb.

Apart from all this, here are some of the important upgrades for her:

  • Base damage for firing
  • Butterfly duration for Phantom Mirage
  • Light regen armor
  • Spread control for accuracy

Tips To Play Flavia

Even after using all the best things for Flavia, you might have a hard time playing her due to the constant movement and game sense you need. To make that a little easier, here are a few tips:

  • Flavia might have a second chance ability, but she’s not invincible. It’s important to learn how far you should push since you won’t be able to get away from the enemies if you’re surrounded by them in their territory.
  • Apart from being aggressive at the start of the round, you can also use Flavia’s abilities to enter sites once the bomb has been planted.
  • It’s more important to learn enemy tracing than the general aim itself with Flavia. As mentioned above, her bullets won’t deal a lot of damage, so you’ll have to hit the enemies a lot of times even when they’re close to you.
