Super Smash Bros Ultimate has been getting support for about three years with character balancing, events, and others. The game even included two fighter passes with new characters, stages, and sets of music. The fighters that benefited the most from the DLC fighters were the Mii fighters with costumes.
Each Mii fighter had unique costumes designed for the head and body. The headpieces can mix with other costumes, though the body costumes were usually made for one of the three Miis. The body costumes had distinct details, especially the Mii Swordfighter costumes with colored sword swings. The costumes felt like honorable mentions for the referenced series. Some costumes represent fighters already playable, so others have a chance to join the next Super Smash Bros.

5 Most Ambitious Game Crossovers in History
Crossovers in gaming can either pay off massively, or flop horribly. Here are some of the most ambitious titles that have tried crossovers.
12
Monster Hunter Slayer
Warrior At Large
Monster Hunter is a very well-known Capcom series that grew in popularity size along with the target hunts. It encouraged players to take down any challenge, no matter the size. Some players can tackle hunts by themselves, but the experience is a lot better when teaming up against bigger dangers. It’s one of the best modern franchises that encourages players to group up and socialize on the most ambitious missions.
The series improved a lot with memorable worlds and challenges like Rathalos. The potential for the character only grows as their wide arsenal of weapons increases. The hunters were even included in Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, making them experienced with crossovers.
11
Rex
Ambitious Salvager
Rex is one of the main protagonists in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. He’s a salvager with a positive worldview who awakened his talent to wield Blades. The Aegis was already invited to join Super Smash Bros Ultimate, but another possible iteration could give him a more active combat role.
Rex can add more for what the Aegis has implemented, Blade Switch. There are multiple Blades Rex can equip for his three main needs: attack, support, and defense. His addition would bring more depth for the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 representative, raising audience appeal.
10
Shantae
Rhythmic Genie
Shantae is the best choice to represent for the Indie platformers. Her franchise isn’t as popular compared to Nintendo series like Metroid and Pikmin, but it is very well received just like them.
What makes the Shantae franchise well known are its memorable world, characters, and transformations. Shantae uses her genie dancing powers to transform into multiple forms like an elephant or monkey. She uses her hair and genie powers to combat her foes and journey through her world to stop the impeding danger threatening peace.

9
Zero
Ideal Hunter
Zero is a fan-favorite Capcom character who would fit in the Super Smash Bros playable roster. He isn’t new to crossovers since he’s jumped into other games like Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Capcom vs SNK Chaos.
Megaman already represents his original series Megaman, but Zero could still join for Megaman X. The major difference between the games are speed, letting the protagonists dash through levels faster than standard Megaman. Zero could have a similar fighting style like Megaman, but with tools to rush down aggressively with his blade techniques.
8
Dante
The Hunter
Dante is the most charismatic demon hunter to walk among the Earth. He’s been on several distinct adventures, including outside of his home series like Marvel vs Capcom Infinite and Shin Megami Tensei Nocturne. He’s a lot like Bayonetta with how they taunt and flex against any foes, including the most menacing enemies. The only difference is Dante is part demon with a bigger mouth and regenerative powers rather than a sassy Umbra witch.
The demon slayer would be a perfect representative for Capcom’s well-nourished series. Not only is he the main symbol for Devil May Cry, but a relative of a series that he manifested from, Resident Evil.
7
Travis Touchdown
The Awkward Otaku
Travis Touchdown is an otaku assassin who takes down targets head-on rather than silently like Sly Cooper. No More Heroes offers satisfying combat with motion controls, showcasing Travis’ unstoppable drive to be number one. He challenges anyone in his way with his bargained beam katana with some form of honor and awkward quirks, making him fit Super Smash Bros.
What makes No More Heroes special is its creativity and character depth. Many memorable moments tested Travis during multiple adventures, including grinding bland jobs, searching through virtual realities, arguing with relatives, killing ranked living beings, and more. It makes the player go through many challenges, including the more annoying or amusing interactions. No More Heroes isn’t a huge series, but its impact is much greater while still being enjoyable with its addictive beat-em up combat.
6
Arthur
Small Courage
Arthur is a memorable Capcom character that fears no one. He tackled multiple adventures to save his beloved from Satan and his menacing underlings, even in his revealing underwear.Ghost n Goblins is most known for its egregious challenge, giving players little room to breathe in each level.
The series mercilessly tested the player’s reaction and patience with a bunch of enemies and hostile attacks that appear from any angle, including from the ground. Even the world was against the brave knight with how it shifts and breaks the environment, but it was never impossibly unfair. He’s the best symbol of overcoming high challenges, including outside of his home series.

The Mario characters have references from their bigger main series like Super Mario Sunshine and Luigi Mansion. There’s very limited references from turn-based Mario games with engaging stories and characters. Geno is one of few memorable characters to represent one of Mario’s partners in his turn-based adventures.
4
Lloyd
Allied Protector
Lloyd is the main protagonist of Tales of Symphonia that goes on a journey to complete his allies’ goals. This ignorant character slowly grew to become someone that would act while creating minimal consequences for his friends.
What makes him the most popular are his character development and fighting style. He constructed his own ideals for a perfect world, which involved not losing a single ally. He protects those around him with his dual wielding swords, letting him cut through targets swiftly with special agile techniques. This makes him the most popular choice to join the Super Smash Bros as a Tales Of representative.
3
Doom Slayer
Rage Incarnate
Doom Slayer is the best candidate to represent shooter games with his influential action-packed game, DOOM. He’s one of the major first-person shooter icons who blends satisfying personal combat action with exploration. The series has brought what very few shooter games has manifested, a memorable person who takes down any obstacle in his way and speaks through his actions.
Not only is Doom Slayer the best at shooting, he’s also experienced with platforming despite wearing heavy armor. His large arrangement of weapons fulfills his needs for any range, though rush-down aggression is very encouraged.
2
Altair
The Creed Of The Series
Altair was the main protagonist who started the Assassin’s Creed series. His game became the main formula for future entries, adding and shapeshifting its open world structure to create improved experiences as an assassin. He’s equipped with high parkour skills and famous tools like his hidden blade, swords, and knives.
Each Assassin Creed has taken place in different time periods, giving various perspectives within the Italian Renaissance, American Revolution, Pirate Age, Ancient Egypt, and more. The series grew to be possible from what Altair established, making him the most fitting as Ubisoft’s best influential character.
1
Cuphead
Old-School Fighter
Cuphead is one of the most unique characters that recently grew into the video game market. He’s the most memorable for his appealing looks and accessible gameplay that test player testament.
What makes him a very good choice is his cartoony appearance. Super Smash Bros only accepts video game characters, which Cuphead is designed to be while being heavily inspired off of nostalgic animated shows in the 90s. He’s the closest candidate to make references outside the Super Smash Bros requirement without breaking the rule.
