Thousand-Year Blood War Part 4 Officially Announced

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War’s third cour aired its finale on December 28, 2024. It was an hour-long special that combined two episodes. The series didn’t waste a moment announcing the fourth and final part of the Thousand-Year Blood War arc.

The fourth cour is titled The Calamity, and it will pick up from where things left off in the third part. A visual and a trailer featuring Ichigo Kurosaki have also been released.

At the time of writing, there hasn’t been any mention of a release date from the official accounts. But there is a strong possibility that Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War will return in early 2026 or late 2025 with its final part. It is going to be the most important stretch of episodes, so the studio will try its best to make sure the series ends on a high note.

Throughout 2025, fans can expect to see updates such as teasers, trailers, and new visuals regarding the Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War’s final cour.

Fans have many reasons to be excited about the fourth part of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. First, Tite Kubo confirmed that the final cour will have never-before-seen scenes. This means that even manga readers have no idea what to expect in the upcoming part.

In the same interview, Tite Kubo also revealed that he couldn’t end Bleach like he envisioned. Since he is closely involved with the project, there is an opportunity to change that. Tite Kubo might adjust the anime’s ending and make it the way he originally planned.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War’s fourth and final cour will see the main cast members make a comeback. The talented staff are more than likely to make their comeback. So, Hikaru Murata and Tomohisa Taguchi will serve as directors for the final part. Masashi Kudo will be in charge of the character designs while Shiro Sagisu will compose the music.

Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 1 was released in October 2022. The second part aired in July 2023, while the third premiered in October 2024.
